My son came home from college this weekend and asked if we could go shooting (*sniff..makes me so proud)! :D He has only shot the CM9 one other time before today, but he settled right in with it. This is his him with his first group unsupported at 25'. He was very consistent with it all day. He seems to really like my new Kahr. I'll have to keep an eye on it!

Makes me proud too. Love the bicep bulge, so manly.
Before somebody jumps on us you might wanna train him to keep his finger off the trigger for photo shoots. Still aimed down range=good. But a tough habit to stick with. I fight it myself, too many years using a nail gun.
Looks like he's hitting what he's aiming at real good.

Yeah, he's well versed in gun safety. That was only for the photo. I was impressed with his consistency today using the CM9. He shot it just as well as my Walther PPQ....and that's saying something!

Nice shooting! How do you like your Walther PPQ? I've been considering getting one in the future, along with a S&W M&P, and maybe an FN FNP

It's good that you got out and spent some quality time with your boy, looking forward to it I'm sure. Looks like he found his pistol!

I love the PPQ. The ergonomics are the best I've ever felt, the trigger feels like a custom job right out of the box, the build quality is top notch...I could go on and on about that gun. Of course, it fills a different role for me. I use it as my home defense/nightstand gun and it's super sweet to shoot at the range. I suppose I could carry it, but there's no need to when the Kahr is so much easier to carry.

My #1 son is much the same. Shoots better than I do with a double action revolver. I can't think of a more enjoyable way to spend an afternoon than going shooting with my son. We don't do it often enough.
