I am looking at different leather holsters, and it seems the offset holsters such as the RKBA offset IWB would be thinner and comfortable. Same goes for dual clip holsters. Does anyone have experience with offset holsters?

They tend not to be as stable as one with a centered clip, which is not as stable as a holster with two clips or loops. But thinner? Yes.

Now if you want a holster that is as thin as can be and very stable, get the PJ IWB Holster (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). Incredibly comfortable all day long with my CM9 in it!

Offset holsters work well with smaller guns. If you are carrying a full sized pistol - go with two clips. I carry my PM9 in a Silent Thunder Slim - works great. I also have a High Noon holster I modified by moving the clip over under the trigger and it works great also (with my J frame revolvers).

You also need to have a good belt if you are using an offset clip.

Thanks for the advice. I will be carrying my CM40.

The problem I have with dual snap/loop holsters is the fact I am always screwing with the snaps or hooks getting it to fit right. I went PJ's and Garretts single over the belt hooks and never looked back.

I have the offset clip holster from RKBA for my Rohrbaugh R9. It's definitely thinner but I wouldn't use it for a pistol that is much heavier. It feels like it would want to rotate forward with more weight.
I haven't tried a Kydex holster yet, but I'm interested in PJ's with all the glowing reviews. I may have to order one soon.
