No set screw on the current OEM rear sight, but it can be stubborn to move.

I think all the new kids are asleep so I'll sneek out of the corner for a second. Answer- Yes you can. Assuming you really need to, confirm your not pulling or causing a shift in point of aim.
The key is BV. BIG Vise. Biggest you have access too. Solid. Pad the jaws with wood, or leather or paper, whatever so you don't scratch your slide. Not to thick of padding, you don't want movement. Don't use the 4$ job that you clamp to the kitchen table. BIG vise. Use a brass punch, I usually try a nylon punch first but with a Kahr I don't think it will cut it, shape the end so you get the best striking area on the sight. Use a very small hammer, I use a very light body and fender hammer. You can wrap the end with tape or put tape on the gun to protect it. Get er lined up, get steady and give her a good smack. As GB6491 said they can be tight buggers. I usually make a small witness mark with a pencil so you can tell for sure if you moved it. After a few smacks if you don't get movement or the brass punch is getting mangled, switch to steel:eek: Now you gotta be extra careful and hit square, you might leave a mark, a little blueing pen or cold blue will hide it.
I watched a real pro gunsmith swap out a bunch of Beretta sights and this is his method, I've since applied it myself numerous times.
Headed back to my corner again, don't want to wake up the children, good luck, it's not rocket science. You can do it.............................................

or get a sight pusher. vise or no vice I ruinedmy factory kahr sight trying tomove it. bent every brass punch I owned, finally bought a sight pusher and wish I ahd done that years ago. Kahrs sights are just tough to move compare dto other brands. Just be care u don't damae the slide or the side of the rear sight, for you will then have to look at hat mess all the time.
error on the side of caution, buy a sight pusher..
