As the title states...I am looking for a IWB cross draw (I shoot righty) holster. I currently carry the CW9 IWB using a locally made kydex (at 5 o’clock) or OWB in a Desantis thumbbreak.

A few years back I had rotator cuff surgery and have reduced range of motion on the right side. Some days I can get to the 5 o’clock position better than other days so...I am looking for a better CC method.

I have done a bit of interweb browsing (till my eyes turned red) but wanted some feedback from those that carry this way and their likes/dislikes.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I carry cross draw for similar reasons that you have-2 spinal ops, and a third coming, has limited my use of my right arm to up close and personal. I had carried at 2:30-3:30 and was very comfortable, but it is very "uncomfortable" to do now. Tried CD and I like it a lot. OWB, I now use a Wild Bill's CD Paddle, and have a Fist CD/ Driver's Holster on order (#42), or a MultiHolster Paddle. IWB, either a Talon Strap-On or another Clip-On style I have accumulated over the years. Anyway, one one gets use to it, you wonder why it's not more popular-it's such a "natural" movement instead of contorting your arm backwards, etc.. Good luck in your search.

I want to try a cross draw for my CW45 as well, I spend a lot of time in a vehicle.

Contact Mernichel about there cross draw holsters. They make models for the kahrs and some of there holster has a third belt in the center of the back side of the holster body loop that help to keep it from leaning away from the body with time .
