Took the p380 out to the range today and man am I impressed! Got it a little bit ago for my fiance, and she loves it too. Slapped a Talon Rubber grip on it (big fan of those after putting on on the cm9) right after taking it through all the steps in the Kahr tech section, and took it for its first trip today. Had a couple problems in the first 20 rounds or so, couple FTE, couple stove pipes, and a couple fail to return to battery (think these were more cause of the fiance limp wristing) got the issues worked out, and put about 150 flawless rounds through it. Was even able to slingshot the slide without any problems. I really can't say how impressed I am with this little gun. The "noisy cricket" as my fiance likes to call it, is accurate, easy to shoot, not as snappy as I expected from such a tiny gun, and proved to be reliable after a short break in. Im excited about a great purchase, but even more excited about something I feel 100% confident in my fiance carrying!
Thanks to everyone on the forum for turning me onto Kahr... my cm9 finally has a little brother (or is it sister if its technically my fiance's gun)

Very cool! My Mrs. is also a big fan of the P380, so much so that she has already requested I order one (done!) and is ready to hit the range as soon as it gets out of FFL jail. Both of our shots with a rented one were good enough to keep the practice target as a keeper, suffice to say it's accurate. I already have 200 rounds waiting to complete the break-in and get it ready for BUG duties.

I agree the P380 is a VERY nice pocket pistol for anyone to carry!

How does she do racking the slide ? Trying to get my wife to get a Kahr instead of a Sig 238.. but being able to rack the slide is obviously a must. Tried to go to the gun show in Charlotte yesterday to look at some and see how she did with it but got caught up in a major traffic jam on 77 due to a wreck. Closed down the freeway for like and hour and a half. Finally gave up crossed over the median and headed home. Stopped at Gander mtn on the way home but they didn't have any there to check out. I guess will have to wait for the next gun show in Dec.

She does A LOT better now that it has some rounds through it! She struggled a little at first (shes tiny) but with some proper technique, and some rounds through the gun, things are going great. I begged her not to carry something with an external safety, cause in a SHTF situation, even "well trained" people have lost because the safety was still on. Shes super happy she went with the p380 over the sig 238 now. (yeah she wanted the 238 first)
Sorry about the traffice on the way to the gun show! I dealt with the same thing on the way there today (I think the panthers game caused most of it today) But a guy there said there is one in Concord next month that isnt a dixie show.... he didnt say where or who, he just said Concord lol

Thanks.. C+E has one in Hickory in Nov. Much smaller and not very many Kahrs there. Glad things worked out for you, your fiance and the 380. I saw an advertisement somewhere if you buy a diamond ring you can get a free shotgun..if you haven't taken the plunge yet !!;)
