That's really cool, FatMatt; a machine that spits-out PM9s, for $1.50

Nice job. The lights are a nice touch. Are those hard-wired, or battery powered?

I'll take it! Oh wait, didn't say it was for sale. Guess I need more facts.

I'd be afraid that someone would try to steal my Coke Machine! :)

With the added weight, it's about 550-600 lbs. It would definitely take two people and a dolly. You can always lag it down too.

Leave out the cement ballast, and one could store a few thousand rounds down there.

Absolutely, And If I would do that, I would frame in and carpet that area too. Would look great. But You really have to have some weight in there because the door is really heavy as well and would sometime tilt if there is not enough weight in the bottom.

Lag it to concrete wall? Not difficult? External dimensions?

Do you have keys to unlock it? The original one in use for soda machine? Or is a new lock installed? I have a friend in Erie, PA shopping.

Thanks. As I suspected, no way I could get that to go where I need it. If I could have I'd buy it in a heart beat. Clever as hell and really good work.

I installed a New Lock with keys. Comes with Two Keys. Its the same T-handle that came from the manufacturer, and still opens just like a normal pop machine, just replaced the cylinder lock.

Its pretty tall, The 7up Machine I did was perfect for my garage. It was 72" tall.

Where is it stolen from? We don't sell our machines and every bottler I know of doesn't sell theirs either.

I can handle the height and width. It's the depth that kills me. Can the door be removed? Dumb assed question I know. And what's the depth without it? This is a work it into a basement kinda deal.

Extremely serious. People steal ours all the time and try to sell them.

I'm not 100% sure if the door can be removed. But if that could happen. It would take off around 8-10".

Explain to me why. That response sounds like it's stolen. I work for Coke and know that people steal machines all the time. Don't try to insult me. What are you doing, trying to deflect blame?

I only buy broken machines. Machines that no longer work. The machines I purchase are from vendors that have machines in the field and no longer want/need these machines. Please keep your opinions to yourself.

This took about 2 seconds on Google - http://www.eastwestvendingmachines.com/#ecwid:category=3541839&mode=category&offset=0&sort=normal

Especially considering you can remove the front panel put a different "label" in the vending machine, there are tons of "vending companies" that aren't just tied to one bottler. The vending machines in my office sell both coke and Pepsi in them, some labeled coke, some labeled pepsi, and some with random labels.

Very nice work and awesome idea FatMatt

Keep pumping em out FatMatt. I have a son in law that drives truck, gets back that way from time to time. If I live long enough and come into some loot I hope he can haul one back for me someday.
Its a great idea and one of those just gotta have one items ya know.

Those are called 3rd party vendors. We lend them our machines and sell them drinks to resell to customers like you for a profit to both us and them. We lose many machines when they illegally sell our machines to others. We don't allow them to put competitive products in our machines, but they do it all the time. We have to constantly remind the not to.

Notice that none of those Coke machines on that site are new? They can't buy new Coke machines from the manufacturer. Only actual Coke bottlers can. I'll bet that if you asked them for serial #s off those Coke machines, you would be told that they don't have any. The numbers are removed to make them untraceable. You can call any of the manufacturers with the serial # and they can tell you who owns the machine.

You can remove the front panel from a Coke machine, but you can't switch them with another panel with a different company's brand. Manufacturers are required by Coca-Cola to make Coke machines with many proprietary parts to prevent this. I have seen people try to put a Coke sign in a Pepsi machine and they don't fit.
