I looked at this site with the breakdown of handguns sold by maker and I do not see Kahr!
I thought maybe it was because they were less known or something, but there are companies that seem lesser known than Kahr on there.
Any ideas or insight into why this might be?

Kahr is on the list; you just don't recognize it.

Kahr is owned by Saeilo, a subsidiary of the Korean company Tongil Group.

I thought Kahr was on its own as Kahr Arms and so its a Korean made gun?

No. It's made in Massachusetts. The company is owned by Koreans.

The guns are made in America.
The corporate headquarters is in Blauvelt NY, and the manufacturing plant is in Worcester MA. But, they are owned by Saeilo which is a South Korean company. At least this is how I understand it.

Please note discussion of Kahr and their subsidiary's, their products and customer service are fair game for discussion good or bad with minimal limitations.

Discussion of owners, owners family's, their employees or managers are NOT open for discussion.

Carry on.

Bawana If you are replying to me I flatly had no darn intention of bring up kook jin in a condescecding way or writing of any religous views. Just the point that he runs a very diversified company and not just some small time gun maker. . If the last name happens to be moon so be it. Some have no idea what a heck of a person kook jin is in the corprate world. Time for some to grow up!!

I was not replying to you flatly at all. I read your post in what I believe was your intent with no negative implied. In the past this sort of thread has turned derogatory and folks tend to express their opinions right or wrong towards family members. This is what we will not tolerate.
Mr. Moon, his family and everyone of his employees right down to the custodian is a protected species round these parts with zero exception.

If your implying to me flatly that I need to grow up, your absolutely correct, my wife and even my mom tell me so all the time but I can assure you it ain't gonna happen. Just not enough time ya know.

Magnum Research weapons are selling well in my part of the woods. Especially the 1911 and the Baby Desert Eagle.
