I am NEVER a fan of just dropping a gun in my pocket. I always use a holster of some type, IWB, OWB yaqui etc.

A gun is only as safe as the person holding it. I've known people who pocket carried sans holster for years without a problem. By that I'm not saying that using a holster isn't the preferred method.

It could just be me but I don't believe the original post intent was discussion of use of a holster or not, but merely showing two ends of the carry scale, pocket size with or without holster and the larger revolver when workable.

I guess it slipped past the astute readers on this post, the pocket holster partially pictured in the same photo with the "pocket" gun....lol.

Jerry, did you polish those rounds with Flitz, for the photo? I've never seen such bright ammo!

not at all, the LWS pic is with a cheap cell phone outside on a bright sunny day. the .44 spl ammo was bought shortly before the photo....stored properly....plus the flash from the camera i guess.
