Not sure if it just a wrong observation on my part but it seems that suddenly in the past 30 days there is much less availability of most Kahr models that interest me - PM9, PM45, P380 in particular because those are ones that I own or am interested in purchasing now, possibly also MKs... not sure of the others. My evidence is that the 3 or 4 online retailers that I go to are plum out and do not know when they will restock, the local gun shows suddenly have far fewer if any available, and even gunbroker.com seems to have many fewer listings. My local gunshops are not good indicators as they never have more than one or two in stock anyway. If true, does any one know whether it is a manufacturing issue, possibly sales through the roof so that the factory cannot keep up, or ???

Best thing to do is to always check in perpetual basis.

I just purchased my PM9 and could not find one locally. On Gunbroker and Gunsamerica there were plenty if you wanted to pay the price. I finally found a dealer on Gunsamerica with the best price. But I think you're right, there seems to be a bit of a shortage.

I would be interested in knowing who it is as I am ready to add to my Kahr collection shortly. Looking for a new PM9 DLC fairly priced. You can PM me or just post it here. Thanks.

I found my PM45 on Gunbroker and PM'd the dealer about not charging me extra for the CC if I used the BuyNow option. He countered with free shipping added to the BuyNow option and I chose that immediately. With the extra mag(#3) thrown in, $825 and free shipping (no tax) and local GB listed FFL dealer charging only a $25 out the door fee. So my total cost was $825+$17.33(cc fee)+FFL/IC $25 = $867.33, plus he threw in a Kahr cap. A local dealer quoted me $860 just for the gun and no idea how long a wait. Tax $60.20 +$5 IC = $925.20 plus whatever for the $44 6-shot magazine included. The tax saving is huge and out of state was my first choice and in stock for immediate delivery was about equal in priority.
I could have had just about any .45, but the DLC with NS has been my dream gun.
You have to search and be ready to pounce and maybe try to get the seller to sweeten the deal a little. I saved about $25 on the shipping. I just didn't want to try to bid and have some one bid the "BuyNow" price, shutting me out -- I didn't want a bidding war.
I was happy with the deal. There was a guy trying to sell his slightly used PM45 like mine for $775. I told him that was too much, since I could find dealer prices like that online.
It depends on how badly you want the gun and soon you want it and how you can pay for it. I'm glad that things came together so that I found what I wanted for a decent price to me. I'll pay for it next CC bill.
Good luck on finding your next buy.
Wynn:)

Mine PM9 took 2 years to get. But I got at the price I wanted brand new and is only 3 months old since I got it(no more than $550 shipped including FFL transfer fee). The waiting was worth it and the savings!

Look at Impact Guns. I bought my MK9 from them and they were nice to deal with. Also check Arizona Gunrunners. Do an really extensive search through google and you will find them out there.

I know where a brand new, black on black PM9 is locally in the south Atlanta region of GA. I believe they are asking $650.00 for it.

In GA you can find some Kahrs more easily such as the PM40, but the PM9s are pretty hard to come by. You just have to literally check every few days.

Florida Gun Exchange is the name of the dealer. 386-304-9499 phone number. No charge for CC and shipping was only $18.

I noticed that in the past year both Impact Guns and Ariz Gunrunners have raised prices around 10-15% - they used to have the best prices around the net, but the issue now is they are mostly out of stock on most if not all popular models. Twice in the past year I tried to buy a supposedly in stock Kahr from IG and both times received an email back that it was on backorder with no estimated delivery date. I did get a great deal last fall at AGN on a PM45 SS with N/S for about $650 (same gun is $100 more today if in stock). I agree that you almost need to check daily with your LGS and online to monitor the market and get what you want. I am beginning to think that gunbroker is the best place to go though I have not purchased anything there yet.

I only found 2 Kahr's at Cabela's in Buda yesterday. PM40 for $687.00 and an all black PM9 they had marked $867.00. I find that to be on the expensive side but apparently they are selling every one they get. Have only found one CW40 locally and the price is going up every time one comes into the store.

Thanks for that! They exhibit at some local gun shows and seem to be good guys with big stock and fair prices. If they weren't a 3 hour drive I'd probably get all my stuff from them. The problem for me is when you add the FFL fee, shipping, AND sales tax it makes a good deal not so hot. At least they have a good selection and if I remember correctly from time to time they get large quantities of some brands and discount them aggressively - not Kahr though.

Bud's Gunshop often has good prices and they including shipping:

Kahr Arms Pistols and Revolvers (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/51)

Check their used ones too as they take trades. I saw a K40 several months back there at a very good price.

I would say most buyer will want a brand new gun, that is just speculation on my part and really hate to speculate because it does not educate.:typing: Maybe you are to expand your demographics in order to sell it.

Where are you trying to sell it? What are you asking for it? How many rounds through it? What model is it? W or w/o nitesites? Maybe I can help.
