Guns were made to be shot.
Particularly the fine ones.

Well Done!

Shoot it like you stole it. S&W made way to many of them for them to have much collector value now. Maybe in a century or two.

Now, that's the truth.

Nothing really rare about my 14-3.

Unusual? yes
Pretty? yes
Complete kit? yes
SHOOT IT? YES!:D

I'd shoot it but I'd be dang careful doing it. Too pretty to get all banged up.

I'm not terribly abusive on any gun but I'm very tender with some.

I rarely bring good stuff into the dept for show and tell anymore. The instructors always want to go into malfunction drills, and speed reloads and generally be obnoxious. Wouldn't know a fine firearm if they tripped over it.

I did take extra care cleaning it this evening.

But I do that with all my stuff.

Years ago I got the stepdaughter off on the right foot about detailing the cars.

Shoot it, care for it, don't mind a little wear... if you're not "collecting" then you should definitely be shooting.

I don't have one safe queen... even my minty 1962 Model 10 gets shot... gently, mind you, but it holds it's place in the safe.

nothing a good sharp file and some 60 grit sandpaper couldn't fix....THEN you would have a 100% guaranteed shooter;)

I like shooters

\u oputtaq be damn proud of ur daughter for keeping her car detailed. Very few women take care of their car. I guess tothem it is just raansportation and I guess also that theyt feel if they have a man around he swhold do it. Mydaughters car looks and definitely is a real pig pen, she is not a litter bug for I think every fokking peace of trash in the last 6 years is in that car. WhenI drive tosee here in Florida, I park away from the vehicle even, as I don't want my clean vehicles to catch the "trash cold". Just sayin

PS u might tellyour daughtrer, she missed a spor on the right side of that door handel!!!!! Just sayn

I've often tipped my hat to the guys that make those. What a nightmare to get them just right. They are tough enough to fit on the inside to the frame let alone all that shaping and fooling around on the outside.

I do love the feel of them though, makes for a very good grip.

For you type of shooting I bet they are just the ticket too.
