Ordered a PJ holster three weeks ago, I hear he has been swamped, and I don't want to tie him up answering another e-mail until it is late enough to think something might be amiss. Has anyone ordered from him in the last few months, and what was your turnaround time? I read somewhere (maybe this forum, maybe another) that he was around 3 1/2 weeks from order to shipping.

Besides, I needed an excuse to post something :phone:

Ask him. Paul's a good guy and responds ASAP.

In my experience when you get a verification of your order Paul sends you an ETA and you received the holster when promised. I'm glad to hear that he's swamped with orders. I've sent a lot of business his way.

Or just wait a few more days. He'll get it to you in the order in which it was booked. Bugging him with an email won't get it to you any quicker.

Jfootin... yeah, I am thinking like you - yes I could send an e-mail, but that will only make his day longer and wouldn't get my holster out any quicker. If we go 4 weeks and a day or two I would probably send an email since at that point maybe something other than plentiful job security has happened. I don't want to be a nag, I can be one less e-mail he has to worry about. Just fishing for comments like Bonjorno's and if he was at three weeks recently I am not concerned yet.

I just got one from him about two weeks ago. It was about 3 1/2 weeks total for mine. Well worth the wait. Love the holster.

yeah the last holster I ordered took about 3.5+ wks. He definately is taking longer to get product out so he must be busy or I hope he is busy and not tied down with family matters. Worth the wait though. His work is clean and functional.

Isn't he located in NJ? I was wondering if the storm stuff was going to affect my order.

He's in SE PA close to Philadelphia. They were relatively hard hit with power outages and such but no where near what Jersey got slammed with. There are still sporadic outages in that area so unknown on his current state.
Paul is a member here so he may chime in with updates.

Just received mine last Tuesday. He shipped it in 3 weeks exactly as quoted. But it took another 2 weeks to be delivered to WA state. 14 days total in transit via USPS first class mail. Absurd amount of time to wait on the mail. It's a nice holster, but After a few days find it easier to just pocket carry the pm9. Might go up for sale soon. Don't get me wrong, workmanship is top notch, just use to pocket carry.

I ordered Oct 20th and received shipping notice today. A little over 3 weeks. With Sandy and all the other problems in the eastern area I think this is an excellent turn around. Now to see what USPS adds to the wait.....BTW for comparison, I am over 11 weeks waiting for an Alabama pocket holster.

I ordered mine on Oct. 30th. Sounds like he is an extremely busy man! Good for him! I have been reading it is well worth the wait time so I am being very patient. I am getting an IWB for my PM9 with Crimson Trace.

I ordered a holster and mag carrier for my P45 on Oct 16th and received it today. Got my notice of shipping via USPS eight days ago. 20 days to completion, 8 days transit for a total of 28 days. Not bad, I'd say. Yeah, I was anxious for it, but that ain't bad from a guy who is plenty busy with orders coming in. You can upgrade to express mail for five bucks, but I can wait.

BTW, I am THRILLED with the items I received ... enough so that I ordered some more after wearing my holster and mag carrier around for a few hours. Great product, well made, good service, works very well, well worth the cost. Can't beat it!!

Hey guys. First of all I want to say thank you for all the great support from KT. It's great to see how much business comes from this site.

I have gotten really busy over the past couple of months which has pushed my lead time out to about 3 weeks. I'm working hard to get it back to two, but having a hard time of it. Believe me, I'm not complaining, but I know everyone is anxious to get their holsters so I keep trying.

I am also making a conscious effort to maintain and improve my quality. I don't want to sacrifice that for speed. A long time ago someone told me that the amount of time spent getting something done is soon forgotten but a good job is remembered for a very long time. I'm going to continue to follow that advice.

If you have an order in and want to know where it stands feel free to send me an email. I'll try to give you an honest update of when you can expect it.

Thanks again for your support.

Paul

Ordered an OWB about three weeks ago for my new LC9 with Laser and got an email last Friday that it was in the mail so I guess I may get it today or tomorrow. Reasonable turnaround. SUre like the guy. He's a straight up guy and will customize things if you need to. Anxious to get the new holster in and try it out.
