As we are changing our smoke and fire alarm batteries as many of us do for the daylight savings time change, this would be a good time every year to put fresh batteries in your laser(s) sights. With the longer nights, and Christmas shopping coming up, will be a great time for fresh batteries in your laser.

It's the Christmas shopping coming up bit there that intrigues me.

Did run the laser sight batteries down scaring off all those kids over halloween though, so it is a timely reminder.

I'm trying to start a campaign to change your laser batteries at the fall daylight savings time change same as you do your smoke and fire alarms, so people will have fresh batteries while they are out doing their Christmas shopping. With it getting dark earlier, lasers will be more useful in the evening hours.

This reminds me; I signed up for Crimson Trace's free battery program and I've yet to see a battery arrive here. Not good!

Thanks for the reminder. I got in on the free battery program thing too. Time to hit CT up.

I think you have to request them. IDK.

I could well be wrong, but I thought they automatically mailed them each year. We'll have to look into this...;)

I was just reading about that program on their website. You have to contact Crimson Trace and request them. I need to sign up for this too.

I went back to the site and requested them to send the batteries after reading your post and the batteries arrived in the mail today! Thanks to Starbug for correcting me and kudos to Crimson Trace for the program. It works. I originally found out about the "Free Batteries for Life" on a forum, maybe this one. Best use of electrons this year. ;)
