Does anyone know about this manufacturer for AR15s?

I'm trying to weed out all of the hype around various manufacturers. It's hard as he11!

I just bought 1000 rds of 9mm from them their customer service is an answering machine (That they don't call back) after 1 week of my order payment they sent me a request for NJ firearms IS (Copy) F them never again for me! I highly recommend georgia arms
www.georgia-arms.com
I never had a hiccup with their ammo in 45/ 40 or 9mm! prices are always competitive I Buy the "Canned Heat" Bulk packed in ammo cans.

That's useful info downtown, but I'm more focused on AR15 carbines right now. Not ammo. Although it speaks of their customer service, and also helps for ammo purchases. Thank you.

I was at my FFL taking delivery on a pistol and the guy next to me was getting 2 PSA AR lowers delivered... they were supposed to be blems but I couldn't tell. As I understand it, Olympic makes PSA's lowers and they are pretty much good to go. I think much of it depends on who does the final machining and, in the case of an assembled unit, who puts it together and with what components.

Yea, i noticed the blem lower and uppers. Pretty appealing! Their site has raving reviews on the blems, many being so insignificant that they are shocked.

I bought one of their AR15's about a year or so ago when they were selling them along with a Aimpoint scope for right at $1000.00. Haven't had any problems with it and I would buy another one. I've put right at 900 rounds down range.

Personally had good luck ordering parts, mags, etc.. No more experience than that. You might stop in at Kelley's Tactical if you are after an AR. Nathan there is a buddy of mine and he tends to stock all the stuff you need to build one. Tell him I sent you.

a psa made ar-15 should be good to go. they finally have models made in house available on their website. i bought my first ar-15 from them, and it was a great reliable rifle. The basic model they're currently selling for $699 is an absolute steal if you ask me...

I built an AR with their lower, moe furniture and LPK. I have over 1k rds down range and it has been perfect. Only one FTE and that was with steel case wolf ammo, and I really can't blame the lower! Works great with a ceiner .22 kit as well.

Thread from my build: http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=6132

I have heard their customer service can be a PITA to get a hold of and that sometimes they charge the card before they ship product (if it is back ordered) and people have had to wait a month or two. Hasn't happened to me, but I have read that on other internet forums. I know that my lower was built by aero precision, a very repuitable company in the industry. It locks up great to two different uppers I have tried with no need for the accuwedge (spike's 6.8 upper and my YHM .223 upper).

Hope that helps.

I have bought thousands of rounds of ammo and a cw45 for 350 shipped and am very satisfied with them. I saw quite a few PSA ARs at the local gun show today and they were all nice.

I give them a thumbs up.

Thanks the replies guys!

Thanks John! Well Nathan simply recognize the name John, or do I need to give him more info?

Rholmes - at this point I'm considering building my own with the MOE furniture as well. Still haven't researched the difference between a one and two stage trigger. But I want a lite barrel, MOE furniture, A2 style front sight (to affix my Smith & Wesson bayonet >:-)), and im unsure about the upper receiver and bolt carrier group.

Don't know if I want to go with chrome lined, or something that isn't mil spec with some advanced coating. The upper will be whatever...i don't care. They have RRA build kits and stuff, and I could build an almost completely RRA for around $800. Sell the furniture to help set off the cost of the MOE stuff.

Bought a PSA AR a couple months ago from a LGS, and couldnt be happier! Got ~300 rnds through it, and not a single problem. Didnt order right from them, but am super happy with their product! I like the fact that they are built about an hour from my house.... made me feel good to support local business!

Oh, does anyone knew about cheaper than dirt's AR build kits? They don't list a manufacturer, but are a good price.
