Silly me to be under the impression that the illegal aliens were only stealing our public resources, our jobs and our property. Went to the hillsboro gun show last weekend. oregon is a sanctuary for illegals and we are loaded with them. It's so bad I won't even go to the washington county fair anymore. But I still believed buying a gun was limited to REAL citizens. At this gun show there were a lot of illegals looking at guns so I asked one of the vendors if they buy them and they said "yes". oregon handed out drivers licenses to them like candy until about 3 years ago and as long as they have one and lie on the form, the background doesn't reveal it. So they get their guns. The state tightened up getting a drivers license, it happened because of ticked off citizens NOT the democRATS who run this state, about 3 years ago. I heard on Lars Larsons show that our current/old governor, kitzhaber, has been having secret behind door meetings to once again provide drivers licenses to illegals. I pray Romney wins and makes E verify required for ALL federal deductions. This illegal problem has to be solved.

I agree whole heartedly. Come hear leagally, learn the language, become a real citizen, pay your taxes, assimalate into our culture or get the hell out and go back to the third world sh!t hole of a country you came from.

Only speaking spanish was my first clue. I've lived here all my life and from 20 years ago to today the amount of spanish speaking people has increased 1000 times. No way that was done "legally". Add in our dmv's were swamped with hispanics right up until the new id requirements and all the sudden NONE were in the dmv. It's a fair assumption that 75 percent here are here illegally, so the odds when you see someone only speaking spanish is illegal, those odds are in that favor. As long as our government supports and protects them over us and lets them walk in freely, I'm going to assume they're ALL illegal. When we finally grow a backbone and kick out the illegals and seal our border, I'll view those still here as my fellow Americans.

I understand this is a serious issue, but I hate to see any more gun legislation in the pipe. It is not the gun that is the problem. Not trying to stir a debate, but that's just my opinion about having more gun laws.

Sadly it occurs everywhere. Also private sellers and dealers ARE regulated differently.

Chief Joseph, are you are profiling those Hispanics? The shame of it! That you would take a set of characteristics and group them together to define all of those individuals is-------a pretty accurate assessment! For those that have a doubt, ask a cop or the Israelis. Profiling works!
