Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum, long time reader, first time writing. This site really helped in my decision to buy a CW9 about 3 months ago. Since then I have shot about 500 rounds in my CW9 without a single problem.

So, my question is, can you put the machined slide stop from a P9 into a CW9 to replace the MiM slide stop that the CW9 comes with from the factory? The 2 main reasons being that I prefer to keep my firearms MiM free, and second that the P9 slide stop looks cooler. So, can it be done?

Yes slide stop for P9 and CW9 are interchangable.Thats what Dottie at Kahr told me a couple years ago when i bought my CW9.I also like the look of the P9 slide stop better.I think i will order a P9 slide stop for my CW9.

And Welcome to the Forum.

Let us know if it's a winner. I'd be interested also.

It can be done, When I first looked at the drawings and replacement parts on the Kahr site I noticed the exact same part # for P and W and it was the machined one. It works just fine.
