Scoundrel

Recently, I acquired a Walther P22Q and spend a fair bit of time/effort working on it to make it reliable with subsonic rounds with the suppressor attached. Without the suppressor, the pressure is lower and subsonics still don't cycle properly - but why would I shoot subsonics without the suppressor? So it's good enough.
All of the time I was working on it, I was thinking to myself:
"My Ruger 22/45 works reliably with subsonics WITHOUT the suppressor, so I wouldn't have to do anything to make it work well WITH the suppressor." and...
"Too bad the Ruger is not threaded." and...
"But they make a threaded 22/45, and it's even black, unlike my existing 22/45 - and if I am going for stealth, I'd want it to be black instead of stainless."
Well, I decided it was time to "pull the trigger" on a 9mm suppressor, and while I was at the store getting that started, I couldn't resist spending a little more while I was at it.
This gun, in my opinion, is BUTT UGLY. But, the red dot adds a classier outline to it, and the suppressor adds style points as well.
It's still ugly, but I feel now that it is ugly in a beautiful way.
Can't wait to get it out to the range and see how it runs.
Also, I moved my upgraded hammer, bushing, and quick strip kit from the stainless 22/45 to this one, so it has all the goodies.
I'm considering whether to sell the stainless one. I don't really need both.
Anyway, here's the pic:
