Slide Stop/ Release ???

Will a slide stop/release from an older P40 work in either a CW9 or CM9 ? Thanks in advance. tom.

my two cents . the P40 slide width is.94 the cm and cw slide with is .90. I am gonna have to assume the frame then is also proppertional to both guns also, so my bet is kahr will tell you know. At the best scenario. the P40 slide lock pin could be alittle bit longer which will just stick out more on the right side, whcih can be modeified to be flush witht he frame even. I would venture to say maybe the cm an cw slide stop pins would not fit well in the P40 frame. possable a tad to short --maybe. I guess my question is : WHY? were only talking aobut $25 to doit right and be totally sure.

I just don't for see kahr telling u anything but a NO due to they are just not gonna GUESS. And again ur probably not gonna be chatting with a kahr tech man either but parts people, who normally can only tell is as$wipe has been used by the color ot it. Just sayin.
