Bought a new CM9 and made the first range visit tonight. I ran 150 rounds of WWB through it and it never hiccuped once. I'm very pleased overall.

Recoil was very manageable. Accuracy was very nice. I think the trigger feels pretty good....a nice long pull that is advisable on a carry gun but no wackiness in the pull. About the only down side is that my right-hand pinky was getting pinched between the bottom of the grip and the bottom of the magazine. Not a big deal and I have Pearce extensions on the way that I'm going to try out.

I have a little Keltec P-3AT and it's awful to shoot. It's really unpleasant. My Keltec was one of the more troublesome ones and I have fluffed and buffed the heck out of it to obtain more reliability. It's much better now but I had so much trouble with it that my trust level isn't real high. So, between the snappiness and the reliability, I wanted to get a CM9. It's still very concealable but much more reliable, a slightly better self defense round, and much more manageable to shoot.

Very happy with the gun. I think it's a very impressive package that offers an optimum combination of small size, light weight, concealability, and shootability without being too light, too heavy, too small, or too big.

that has been my experience as well. i have put about 400 rounds through my cm9. zero complaints. it is my carry gun.

i need to assemble a spare parts kit for it and put on night sights.

Good going. Run another box of FMJ or two and some SD ammo that you plan on carrying to see if it cycles well, and then it should be GTG. Congrats!
