So I finally took my little friend to the range today (had been waiting to find a time me and my buddy could both make it) and I was thrilled with the cw9's performance. It gobbled up 100 rounds of winchester white box and 50 federal champion, both 115 gr, without the slightest hiccup. It took a while to get my trigger pull down ( I was missing low and left for a while) but after the first 100 rounds were done me and my buddy shot some half decent groups, not bad for a first time out.
I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY FIRST HANDGUN, WHY DOESN"T EVERYBODY OWN ONE OF THESE!?

Excellent. Glad you had fun and success.
Strip her down, give her a good bath and take her out again.

First handgun? I think this deserves some sort of a celebration.
I'm sure it will be the first of many, betcha can't own just one.
I'm so glad you had a good fun range trip, low left is pretty typical at first getting used to the trigger, hold your head up in that respect.
Happy new first handgun to you.

Yeah In all likelihood I'll be lookin to get myself a wheel gun sometime down the road, so you're right on there Bawanna
Once I realized I was missing low left frequently I remembered someone on the forum (not sure who it was) saying their accuracy improved pulling the trigger with a relaxed third knuckle (one closest to fingertip) and that helped a lot. My last magazine I got 4 out of 6 headshots at 7 yards, so at least I ended on a good note.

Yeah Miles once you get one, more just seem to show up.
I bought my first handgun about 3 years ago and have 4 now....... and working on #5.
Get you a wheel gun there's just something about them that's so much fun to shoot.
My CW9 has been great. VERY accurate when I do my part and so easy to carry. Has to be one of the best deals out there as far as bang for your buck.
Great gun for the price.

Congratulations on your first handgun. I have a CW 45 and it has been flawless the whole time that I have owned it. You are right it won't be your last weapon. I also have a 357 a 22 and just purchased a 380 for my wife. I had a Smith and Wesson 40 that I sold. I regret it though. My next weapon will probably be a Glock in 9 mm since I have never owned one.

I just saw some interesting videos on this with the 4th generation model. Which model do you suggest I look for to purchase as opposed to that model?
