Good morning, all.
Just wanted to drop in and send salutations. I ordered a CM9 this week and should be picking it up today. I've already got my Crossbreed, an extra magazine ordered, and I have read several times the prepping sticky for new Kahrs. I also have four different brands of 115 grain FMJ to run through it when I get to the range which hopefully will be tomorrow. With all of that I think I'm fairly good to go, but if anyone has an idea for something I've missed please let me know.
Take care, everyone, and have a good day.

Welcome to the forum. You have picked out a good carry gun in my opinion. Mine has been excellent. I plan on getting out and shooting mine today as a matter of fact.
Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions just ask. Glad to help in anyway we can.

Thank you for the welcome yqtszhj. I appreciate the kindness. This forum has possibly been the strongest influence of my decision to purchase the CM9. I have been wanting something smaller and lighter than my current carry which is a Glock 26. The Kahr seemed to fit my requirements quite well. As I type this it is currently resting IWB in my Crossbreed Mini Tuck and thus far it seems to be doing exactly what I had hoped it would do. Now if I can just figure out how to get the bloody slide stop out I could field strip the pistol, get it prepped, and be at the range at first light.
Take care, and enjoy your weekend.

Taking the slidestop out is tough the first 2 times you do it but with practice it gets easier.
One easy way is to use something like a Chinese food chopstick or something that will slide in the slide opening. Back the slide off and slide the chopstick in and keep pushing in until the witness marks on the side line up.
Take the handle end of a screw driver and tap the opposite side to pop the stop out. Should pop out enough to grab it and go.

Thank you for the information, Tinman. I'll try the screwdriver handle trick. I'm chomping at the bit to try this little gun. I have high hopes so far. The magazine drops freely, the slide is gliding well without a hint of catching, and the trigger is smooth with no feeling of grit and has a nice break. Lord willing and the creeks don't rise the shooting will go well.
