Hello all, I'm a happy new owner of a CM9 that I picked up this past Saturday. Was lurking on this board last week and you guys really helped me make the decision.
Did a "partial prep" (omitted the polish with the Dremel) because I wanted to get to the range before it closed. Put 150 rounds through it and all I can say is wow! I was shooting better than I do with my Glock 17. It just felt right and the trigger is like butter. I was concerned I would not like the long pull but no issues at all. I did have a couple FTF but no surprise there.
Since then I cleaned it, did the polish and have been racking the slide quite a bit. Can't wait to get back out and continue the break-in.
I've been shooting my Glock for a couple years mostly for fun and have it for home defense. Just got my CCW and plan to start carrying the CM9 regularly.
One question to start - the CM9 RSA is different than what is shown in the Kahr take-down video. Mine does not seem to want to come apart, i.e. spring won't come off the post. Is this normal?
Cheers!:D
