Hello all new to the team here.

Thought I'd share that Natchez Shooting Supply currently has 9mm Rem Golden Sabre +P 124gr for 12.99/25 rd box. Seems like a great deal.

I've been stocking up a bit and wondering about long term ammo storage. I'm putting it in ammo cans with dessicant. Had a thought about using my vacuum sealer to protect them from air/moisture. Overkill?

Welcome to the forum.

Ammo cans with desiccant should be enough. If you do use the vacuum sealer, don't overdo it... stop just as the bag collapses down against the box(es). Too much vacuum could affect the powder & primer(?). I bought a bunch of .22 ammo and used the vacuum sealer and put them into ammo cans with desiccant. I did as big a square as would fit in the bags... piles of ammo... cubes or rectangles. In other words, more than one box per bag.

Thanks for the heads-up. That is, indeed, a good deal.

Nothing needs to be done to modern ammunition to preserve it other than to store it in the proverbial cool dry place. Most ammunition will out live the purchaser by a substantial margin.
