No pics, sorry but my two magazines for my PM45 went back to the mother ship for replacement. Both had cracks in the back top corners after a 100 round session with hardball. Noticed it when one mag would no longer insert into the magwell. I contacted Kahr and the sent me a fed-ex label and they have them now. Hope they come back soon with new ones. Carrying my PM9 for now and feel just fine about that.

My PM45 started destroying magazines like that... 6 out of 7 with different sizes and purchase dates. It turned out that the only way to stop the destruction was to replace the frame. I've heard of mag problems, but no other pistols eating them as mine did. Kahr really tried everything, but it took a new frame for a fix. I don't know if yours is going to be like that, but it's something to watch for.
The original serial # was SV3533 and the new was SV38xx. Kahr sent along a letter explaining that they had taken possession of the original frame for my records.

My PM45 serial number is less than a hundred off of yours. I thought I had read that Kahr had "fixed" this mag issue with their supplier, that maybe it was a manufacture issue on those earlier mags. I hope it isnt an issue. I bought the gun used and it shoots perfectly and I have no idea how many rounds were through it before I bought it, although it looked lightly used. I have put maybe 300 through it before I had this issue.

My PM45 came with the two 5-round mags and a 6-round extended grip mag when I got it off Gunbroker.com... AND a Kahr cap... as part of the deal. I bought a 7-round mag and then two 7-round extended mags... four different kinds of mags from several different online stores, so it wasn't one batch. It was pretty obvious that the magazines' splitting was from something in the pistol. Kahr was able to duplicate that and only changing the frame stopped the destruction. I don't know of any other incidence that extreme, but it IS something to be aware of and watch for.

I will be watching. If these split, I will be requiring Kahr to take the weapon and make it right! Thanks all for your input.

these repeated issues with the PM45 mags are not giving me much confidence in making a CM45 my next purchase

Roger that. When I'm ready to buy a compact .45, I'm going to give the XDS a shot.

For the alternative perspective, I have had no problems of any kind with my PM45 mags. I have the 5 round flush fit and 6 round extended. I've put enough rounds downrange to replace the recoil spring assembly, and it's all been good.
