Hey everyone,
I took my new CM9 to the range today and put 200 rounds of WWB through it. Perfect. Flawless. Not a single issue.
I am so pleased with this little 9mm. Accuracy was very good at 21 feet. I didn't save any targets to show off, but I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate the gun shot.
At the end of my session I ran about 25 rounds of Critical Defense (my carry ammo) through to make sure there were no issues. No problems at all.
I am super stoked over finally having a reliable, compact 9mm that I can pocket carry with comfort. I definitely noticed the increased weight from my LCP, but I think I will get used to that pretty fast. It is a sacrifice I am willing to make for 9mm power.
The last time I took a chance on a small 9mm, I purchased a Kel Tec PF9. It had extraction issues from the word go and it took a lot of effort to get it to the point where it was reliable. Based on that I was hesitant about running into ANY issues with my Kahr. I was worried about repeating the past with the PF9. That did not happen. The CM9 is fantastic. Recoil is a breeze, accuracy is great, size and weight are very good and it doesn't malfunction.
LOVE IT! :D:D:D:D :53:

Wow, you sound a lot like me. My CM9 has been 100% flawless too, Critical Defense is my carry ammo, and my previous compact was a Kel-Tec PF9. The only difference is that my PF9 never gave me any problems. I sold it mostly because it was really uncomfortable to shoot. I like to practice quite a bit with my carry gun, and I would be tired of the PF9 after 50-100 rounds. I could shoot my CM9 all day. Anyhow, welcome to the club!

Thanks guys. My only regret with my CM9 is that I didn't buy it sooner!

a long time member and poster on the kel tek forum. Owned 3 kts. and as u know they also have some prepping posts tomake ones kel tek a better gun out of the box One that comes to mind was the rampectomy. that many did to their kt's to make them more reliable. I think that is where the term FLUFF AND BUFF origiated from to..
ur right about one thing for sure. The kt compared to the kahrs was a real bugger on ones hands for sootin any amount of round..

I've owned 2 LCP's and like many found the sights all but useless. A CT laser helped but I wanted more power in a similarly sized gun and all the extra safety features put on the LC 9 turned me off. Hence the CM 9 and like you and others I wish I'd just bought it in the beginning and saved some wasted cash. Enjoy and welcome !

i hate all you mooks (in the best possible way) for getting a gun at half the price and all the reliability than i did!

Jerry, you can sell the 'eye sore' at near cost, then buy a CM. ..... and just add a lil more to buy a CW, too.
I did :-)

Does the CW have the same trigger as the CM9?

dont think im not tempted....if it werent for the fact that my PM9 runs like a top id be ditching the PM45 cheap to so i could buy someting else.... but, after 500+ rounds i think its coming along.....last 50 were flawless....will see how it goes.

I switched from the LCP too. I is barely bigger and barely weighs more. I gut used to it quickly. My CM9 has been nothing but good. I know you're going to be happy. Welcome to the club.
