A few days ago, my brother-in-law forwarded the folling link to an article that is suppose to be a leaked list of upcoming bans on firearms. Is this for real or is it old information, speculation, etc.? It is pretty scary!

Thanks,
Steve

I don't think it's real. It's dated like it is, but that exact language was in some stuff that circulated a few years back.

Am I letting my guard down, nope. Just sayin' I don't think it's legit as a new effort with those specific items listed.

Will that list eventually materialize in some form of legislation...you betcha!

Not buying that as real. It is just a rehash of the list of years ago. Many of the weapons on the list are no longer being made so I say Bogus. That is not to say some other list might not be made in the future. The website raises a lot of red flags for me as to its veracity.

Believe it when you hear it from the NRA.

Not buying it as written. I'm sure he'll try something though.

Maybe and maybe not. I recall the NRA's Crisis of the Quarter bullshat and I an still skeptical of even them unless I hear it from several sources. The NRA is no longer for me the one and only. They have misled the members too many times to generate revenue.

I am still a dues paying member but much more skeptical now.

i wont say the NRA has lied to me, but they seem to use scare tactics on those easily dooped.

i support the NRA because we dont have anybody else in washington d.c. to speak for us....maybe orin hatch and a few others.....i dont ever recall jews for firearms ownership or whatever that group is called (which i would support if not narrowly focused) standing up on capital hill with cnn showing them speaking.....

Jerry I consider the scare tactics lies. Years ago during the horrible Neal Knox years that almost destroyed the NRA from the inside out it was pretty easy to spot the dishonesty in their letters and mailings.

The group you are referring to is Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership aka JPFO. I support them also. Their founder has died but very able men have stepped up to continue Aarons fight.

ironically, with all the hoopla about jews running hollywood and other statements like that youd think the JPFO would get some press regarding their cause......not to be racist but where is their exposure? ive only heard of them from other gun message boards, never in the national press.

And you won't since JPFO does not cowtow to the DemoNazi and/or Libtard agenda.

so the jews whom "run" hollywood are not friends with the jews whom believe in private gun ownership? i know the jews in American dont care about the Israeli jews except when they vacation there because they support liberals whom are room temperature at best with regards to actually supporting Israel with anything other than words.

i guess its like the black Africans and the black Americans.....completely different mind sets.

It is like any other "group". Not all gun owners believe citizens should be allowed to own AK's, full autos etc. It is not a mystery that this situation is true for other groups.

when there is a strong common bond such as religion its hard to find proof of specific violations against their doctrine.....they are what they are so to speak.

how many catholics public speak out FOR abortion? now see where they take communion, no priest would give them communion knowing their stance....

you would think jews here would have learned the value of gun ownership by now, save for a small and inocuous group like JPFO.

Not sure if the JPFO is in tight with the JDL. It is not a far reach to conclude that there could be some mutual support of one another.

I don't know about that list, seems like BS to me. If you actually read through it, those items did not need to be listed as it basically says anything semi-auto, has a deatachable mag and/or greater than 10 round capacity. Whats left? Revolvers?

I did get a chuckle out of the TEC-9 on the list. Its an old ghetto legend/relic, I doubt there are enough of them left to bother with banning.
