There are 2 ways to determine whether you have a PM9193 with the Enhanced Trigger:

The sticker on the case will say "Enhanced Trigger"
The area inside the slide near the striker will be smooth (on both sides of the striker). The non-Enhanced Trigger model will have a cam and an indentation on one side next to the striker.

This is a running change, so a serial number range cannot be used to identify which iteration of the PM9193 you have.

*I don't know how to post pictures to this forum.

The model number on the box of the new PM9 with the enhanced trigger is 9193. The regular style is 9093 according to the Kahr site Hopes this helps.

I thought the enhanced triggers also had manual safetys?

They do, but older 'non-enhanced trigger' models also are available with the safety.

True. At least according to the Tactical Life review.

Oddly enough, the article does not even mention the enhanced trigger. Go figure. ;)

It appears that when the article was written, the enhanced trigger wasn't yet available. They just started introducing it this year, but manual safety guns have been available for a few.

Yea, I think it is because ALL the new production guns with manual safetys have the enhanced trigger. They are no longer made with the standard trigger.

My PM9 w/ safety having been made in 2011 doesn't have the enhanced trigger.

Hi, I hope it’s ok to revive this thread.
I’m interested in a PM9193. I know a couple of gun dealers that have one, but
they are unable to tell if the gun has the Enhanced Trigger. The original poster
mentioned pictures but I haven’t been able to find any.
Is there a digit in the serial number that indicates an Enhanced Trigger, Pictures,
or any other information to help Identify an Enhanced Trigger? Thanks

Well I did it. Being the enhanced trigger has been in production for two years and after reading the thread about the 2014 guns having 3 mags, http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=22467 (http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=22467), I am now a proud new owner of a PM9. After following the prep guide, (Thanks Jocko) it’s ready to be broken in.

Welcome and enjoy your new pistol. The enhanced trigger is a wee bit shorter than normal and should be sweet. Let us know how it goes.
