Wow... 20% increase is a lot.

The news video was kinda interesting too... Colorado alone had 30 people (!) working in the background-check office on Black Friday!

I process pistol transfers here as part of my daily chores. On Monday I got 17 I believe it was. I normally get that many or less in a month.

We got a couple stores in town that started selling guns again, plus a relatively new gun shop.

Hmmmm...

The FBI phone in background check was down for over an hour where I work???

Aside from that, we only had one firearm on sale for black Friday, Ruger 10/22 Takedown. Sold out in less than 2 hours. The rest of the firearms are in the ad are on sale until the 28th yet we sold well over 300 firearms on that day. Usually we move maybe 20-30 a day on average.

I'm sure sales are much higher than that. Here in Az. there is no background check if you have a concealed carry permit. There may be other states like that too. The last figure that I saw was 154,000 + permits here.

we (Texas) don't do the call in background check either with CHL. Just fill out the sillyassed 4473, pay your money and it's done. The last gun purchase I made through ffl took less than 10 minutes....the store was busy that day.
