What is the best for both the PM9 and the P45

Also, some might not make them for left handed people so which ones might fit that bill if some companies only make right handed versions?

I really like my Galco Ankle Glove system when wearing my Kahr CM9 as a back-up.

I tried to look the holster up before responding to be sure it is offered in a left-hand version, but the internet is slow this morning.

This is an extremely comfortable rig, and the thumb-break secures the pistol against it being jarred loose.

+1. Been using an Ankle Glove as one of my modes of carry for the PM9 for 10 years now. Very comfortable and well made. Yes, they do come in a left handed version. I have one.

I'm an everyday ankle glove user too. Darn nice set up. I didn't know they made a lefty version. Crap I got another ankle that's not doing a darn good thing.

I think some one in ur situation Bawanna the ankle rig would be ideal. I think it is a slow down method, certainly one tha tyou have to be alittle careful of how u sit etcf, ad the pants cuff can defiitely ride above the rig and maybe u now even know it. I alike many have bought ankle rigs thinking they are sper cool. I guess a question that I would ask if how many bought a ankle rig a hear ago and today are still carrying that way??

It's not nearly as fast as my belt gun and I found the way I sit on my riding lawn mower that it basically sucks. I saw a huge rat running across our horse pen as I was mowing. Went for the PM45 but the steering wheel obstructed my reach. So now I always wear a belt gun when mowing, could have been a Zombie ya know.

The ankle rig is perfect for everyday for me since my legs don't move. They are just there so it's a perfect place to hang stuff.
As stated it's not a fast draw rig but I bet it's faster than getting your PM out of your pocket.

With uniform pants (kind of slacks) or 511's or jeans they ride very nice. Never ride up unless I pull them up and sometimes I gotta be quick to pull em back down so I don't get caught by the brass ya know? Sometimes I just gotta look at it during the day.

I'm using one for my PM9 similar to this one. Not as bulky, imho as some that appear to have a regular type holster.

One disadvantage is the difficulty of one-handed reholstering. Not a deal breaker for me but ymmv.

One plus to that style is it will fit several similar sized guns. I do prefer the regular thumb break to the velcro'd strap but that style works very well for the purpose.

I think I have one similar to that myself.

WHITE socks just don't go with that set up. Just sayin.

First thanks for the replies so far. What was the ballpark you paid for them?

I provide you a link to the one I have, similar to the one Sgt.K shows. I totally agree with Sgt.K, it's a pain to re-holster, but it works & it's slimmer & cheaper than one with an actual holster. :D

I'll only use an ankle holster if its tied to a boot. I guess it's personal preference, but I dont like the holsters that just wrap your leg. They flop around too much if you run or jump around.

Here's mine...it's a G&G I believe. Very secure.

That does look secure. However I think it would be difficult for me to fit something that thick under my jeans pants leg. Then again it might be ok for the PM9.

I typically carry my P45 with a Crossbreed supertuck, but maybe it might be small enough to fit into some of these ankle holsters if needed?

My ankle glove for my PM45 without laser fits a 1911 perfectly. I haven't tried the G&G that accomodates the laser to see if it works or not.

Works well with an officer size gun. Full size the barrel sticks out a bit far.

The boot lace rigs are very secure. A few of the officers here wear them.
My running and jumping days are very limited so the basic strap on works good for me

Don't personally care for the G&G holster. Ankle Glove with the optional calf strap is my preference. Stays in place quite securely. I spent around $100 for mine.

Actually the G&G is a spittin image of the Ankle Glove and the calf strap is far better quality. My legs aren't long enough and to skinny to utilize it so I sent the calf strap to another member here, don't recollect who it was but he liked it.

I have both and really couldn't tell the difference in a dark closet.

The G&G leather ankle holster - yes. The G&G BootLock ankle holster (to which I was referring in the previous post) - no.

Agreed that both the Galco and G&G leather ankle holsters are quallity holsters. Can't go wrong with either one. And just what the heck are you doing in a dark closet?

I paid $15 for mine at the gun show. Don't have any information about it, no tag or anything. Very similar to the one Yogi linked to without the support strap though.

This one.

I have been using a Sticky Holster some lately (like a Remora, but much better grip when tucked). They make an ankle holster called the AnkleBiter. Might be worth a look and lightweight as well.

Way too much information mser! Now I may have to resign my position with the local septic tank pumping company in shame and disgrace.
