After yesterdays trip to the range I noticed a burr had developed on the loading ramp. Looking into the chamber the burr is on the lower left bottom of the loading ramp. Right at the corner. Almost invisible, but I could feel that some metal had been pushed back. During the cleaning process I use a fine file to lightly smooth the burr. I have tried to take a photo and have been unsuccessful in producing one that shows the now smooth bump. I could not see anything that would cause such a burr. None of my three magazines have any marks or damage. I had no malfunction during yesterdays range session. I have examined all of the parts with care while the pistol was clean and still field stripped. Anyone else ever had this happen?

Hello rkirk, Others have seen this and as I remember it is caused by the magazine being slammed into the feed ramp...The fix that Kahr does is to machine a very small amount off the bottom of the feed ramp, some have done it themselves....I don't think its an issue other than cosmetic but perhaps Jocko or some others will chime in with more info....

Thanks getsome, that makes sense, because I was reloading on an IDPA stage. You know trying to balance shooting straight against the clock. So that is a relief. I want things to go well, because I really like this pistol. It is great to carry. :D
