I hate to go to Cleveland.

So I never do. My brother lives up there.

According to the coroner each occupant of the vehicle was shot by the police more than 30 times. No weapon was found in the vehicle. Cleveland is a great place visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

My in-laws live up there. Even though I did enjoy the R&R Hall of Fame and the Christmas Story House, the city is a huge dung pile.

There are a few of us here that do not open any blind linked articles. If you want those of us that do not open blind leads to read the linked articles, please include some idea of what is in them when you post.

Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

I'm ready to move to North Dakota or Montana, Hundreds of miles away from anyone. I grew up in NE Ohio, I still live here now unfortunately. It is now and has always been a dump.
This video sums it up pretty well:

I wouldn't post anything that lead you to a virus, but in consideration of your position I will, in the future, post where the link will take you. That won't in any way prevent you from getting a virus, but it should give you peace of mind. :)

Cleveland has a lot of attributes, but like any large city run by democrats, it has it's share of problems. Most of the problems are found east of Public Square after dark. In addition to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame we have the world renowned Cleveland Clinic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum, the Cleveland Aquarium. We are also the home of three major, albeit lousy, sports teams, the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland was also the home of John D. Rockefeller, and Andrew Carnegie. And, like the song said, "We're not Detroit." :)

Although I am from Texas, my son spent seven years in Cleveland attending undergraduate and graduate school. I made many, many trips to Cleveland during that time. I have to say, I found the people in Cleveland (and the surrounding area) to be nothing but friendly and kind, and I always had a good experience when I visited the city. The folks in Cleveland have spend a lot of time and money cleaning up the city, and it shows. Sure, east Cleveland is a rough place, but so is the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, south Chicago, and many other areas of the large cities. I really don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm simply sharing my experience with you guys.

Thanks, Rufus. You'll find good and bad everywhere you go. Cleveland is no different.

That's probably true of Cleveland proper, but the burbs continue to grow. Cleveland encompasses just about all of Cuyahoga county. Last winter I had to run my snow blower all of three times. Did I mention that Cleveland is located on the south shore of Lake Erie, the most productive of the five Great Lakes?
