View Full Version : My trip to buy powder and lead

There was a bit of confusion at the Sporting goods store this morning.
When I was ready to pay for my purchases of gun powder and bullets the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me."
Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the gun registry people running amok, I did just as she had instructed.
When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to my credit card.
I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

I'm trying to get an image out of my head at the moment.

Just focus on your avatar and it'll all be ok.

That's what I usually do in cases like this!
Sure wish I could make the avatar bigger though!

Only a mental case could paint a mental picture like that. It's very hard to type with tears in your eyes. LOL :)

Now I don't know what AC7880 looks like so I can't picture him (or her) exactly but from the information contained in his/her forum name, he/she has no fixed abode drivin around in his/her motor home and most likely is a senior. Now, just picture in your mind the oldest person that you know.......naked.
See, it is really easy to be a mental case.:D

Just give Obama another 4 years and it might all come true. Drop em and spread em to buy ammo.

Well, I don't want to picture or imagine you naked anyway.
I used to be that thin also (about 40 years ago)

Last photo: Key West Garden Club (http://keywestgardenclub.com/index.html) (KWGC) at the West Martello Towers (1863-1873). The KWGC rescued the unfinished fort from being leveled on the south side or Atlantic side of Key West. Now the West Martello is listed as a National Historical Site and has a rare collection of native and exotic plants. http://www.keywestgardenclub.com/
We had all our photos in webshots, well organized and named. Then webshots totally changed their setup, so we had to migrate to flicker, and lost much of the organization and names of pics.
Here is Wifes photo album of the Key West gardens:
