I am thinking about either getting my PM40 threaded or getting a PPK or Micro1911 threaded. Any suggestions?

You can get an outstanding set of ear muffs for around $40. A suppressor, the threaded barrel and licence to own one will cost an arm and a leg. You'll also get a very thorough anal exam from the government. If you can handle all of that I say go for it.

Although I own a threaded barrel for my HK45C and don't have a suppressor.
That's really the only good reason to have one IMHO.
It looks cool for sure and does give you some style points.
But without something to screw on the barrel other than a thread protector?

Not really worth the price of admission.

(For me I wanted to create the more expensive HK45 Compact Tactical and may still get a can)
