CM40 arrives today!!

I just checked my tracking number from Bud's Police Supply and my new Kahr CM40 is to be delivered today! :D Hopefully I can have a trouble free break-in period and start to carry this thing. I ordered a PJ Holster IWB with C-Clip a couple weeks ago. Should be a nice combo. I'll report back how the break in goes. Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way.

Received my CM40 today. Took it out to the range and shot 100 rounds through it. I shot a mixture of WWB 180gr FMJ and some Ultramax 180gr JHP we had laying around at the office. I wasn't enthused about shooting the Ultramax JHP this early in the break-in but the pistol ran like a top!! :D I even loaded some mags with a mixture of the two different brands and it was 100%. I plan on running a few hundred more rounds through it tomorrow including some Winchester Ranger T-Series 180gr that will be my carry load. I was really impressed with the quality of this Kahr pistol.

Went out to the range again today and put another 100+ rounds through the CM40 including 5 magazines of Winchester Ranger 180gr T Series JHP that will be my carry load. Pistol ran 100% again. :53: I've given it a good cleaning and lube and it is now ready for carry. I added a Pearce grip extension prior to today's shooting and it really helped me control the pistol better. These CM40's sure are a "hand cannon".

Glad you enjoy it, I really like mine. It's very accurate too, 25yd poppers are quite easy to do, which isn't bad from a 3" .40!
