How do you carry your mags.

I pocket carry mine this is the first mag holder I made. Sit in your pocket till you need it then you pull the mag and the corner of the sheath hooks on the pocket. I just bought a Old Timer knife pouch at our local gun show last weekend. It perfectly holds my 7 round mag and I can mount it either horizontally or vertically on my belt. A great buy for $10...

For my Kahr I use a beardogon my pm9 magazine in my pocket. For my g23 I just throw an extra mag in my pocket.

Ordered a Remora carrier so I'll get back to you. Usually a spare just goes in my pocket or, if single stack, in the coin pocket of my jeans.

for edc the 6rd flush is in the gun & put a 7rd in my pocket.
for the range i carry a ace brand nylon exterior & felt interior handled pouch with all my loaded mags, you can fit alot of mags in there & it's water proof for outside shooting.
i picked these up @ a local show for $6 ea & bought 1 for each of my hand guns, i really like the handled cases to just grab & go.

Got a remora 2 mag in the other day and I'm impressed. Holds well and, yes, you forget it's there.

Supposedly it can be used for any mag - universal fit for single and double mags - but so far only used it with my CM9 mags.

I have a leather Buck Knives belt holder that I use for my Kahr mag and I bought a nylon double mag holder, also for the belt, for my Glock 27. I forget my kahr mag is on my hip it's so light. The Glock and the mags are heavy, so I always know they're there.

I've invested a good sum of money in a few dozen of the Kydex Magazine Holders from Mitchell at Tactical Kydex. I've sent him Kahr mags to make molds and he makes decent and inexpensive Kydex Magazine Holders... for all manner of guns.

I'll post his link... this has been an off and on "hobby" since I found out about him about 3 years ago.

You'll have to check a later post for current prices, but you can talk to him about your needs and he can usually accommodate you. He accepts PayPal.

BEARDOG made me a beautiful double mag pouch for the inside pocket of me vest for the P380 mags.
In business attire, the two mage rife in a Desantis ankle holder (shown earlier here) or a single mag will ride in a simple Bianchi suede leather mag carrier, depending on where I'm going.

Beardog work also. I designed this to fit vertically in leg pocket of cargo shorts that I have several identical pairs of. Mags stay upright and can be drawn easily as the weight and fit of leather keeps it in place. He met my goals perfectly.

At work I wear a smart carry holster for my P9 that has an extra pocket to fit 2 spare mags under my scrub pants.

I love that. Super cool. I'm close to ordering a mag holder from Garrett, the spring loaded holder that holds 7 1911 mags. Imagine 63 45 rounds on your belt. Comforting especially in these trying times.

I'm still pondering the weight though. I'm thinking I can always figure out a mount to hang it on the chair but I'd really like to keep it on my, in case me and the chair get separated.
