Just got my new Comp-Tac paddle holster for the CW9. Quality product and a great compliment to my IWB rig, a Crossbreed Super Tuck.

I have several Comp-Tac holsters including two paddle holsters. I would like to know how close to the body it carries and did you buy the FBI or straight up and down? Enjoy the new holster!

I have one of these for my CZ 75B, too. Both are the straight-up-and-down model ("Straight Drop"). They keep the gun pretty close to the hip, but I'm spoiled by my IWB holster that basically makes the CW9 disappear.

Being kinda fat I cannot wear a straight up/down holster. I have found that about 20-22 deg. angle works best for me. I am courios about the Comp-tac holster- does it have a wide back surface (against your body), and is it comfortable for all day wear? are the clips hard to get loose/off your belt?. Thanks for any replies.

Comp-Tac holsters are very well designed. The paddle holster is so comfortable I forget it is on during the day. Very easy on and off. The IWB CTAC makes it self known and is some uncomfortable. It is easy on and off. Of the IWB holsters I have tried it is the most versatile, comfortable and hides pistols better than other IWB holsters I have tried. It will jab your thigh or leg if you carry in front of the hip. It works better behind the hip. However I prefer to carry just in front of my hip. I adjust the clips to try and achieve no cant and then where the front clip is below the strut cut the clip off. It helps! IWB is not the most comfortable holster. I think the Pancake is the best, but you need a cover garment. I hope to find a Pancake that is designed to wear just in front of the hip, and it should have very little cant. If anyone has such a holster for a lefty please let me know.
