Fell in love with my CM9 again after not shooting it for awhile. I think the magazine/nose dive issues had turned me off a bit to not trusting it. Had a 6 rounder that cracked at the seam and 7 rounder that I am turning in for a 6.
Anyway, can anyone tell me if the Kahr trigger system has been or can be installed or gunsmithed into other firearms?
Thanks for your feedback!

the cam system for the striker mechanism is the secret...not just the trigger itself... so, probably not;)

Kahr's 'system' incorporates several patented exclusive features that are not / will not ever be found on other handguns. One of these is the offset feed ramp which makes the low axis bore and trigger bar/cam set up possible.
So the answer is no.

Polish your feed ramp and chamber and get some new mags, change ammo and shoot that pistol are sell it. No use haveing something you don't trust. My first kahr came from a guy that it would not shoot reliably for. Been a great pistol for me with nothing changed except the shooter and ammo and maybe lube. You may also trade or sell your and buy the CW9 as the larger version is easier to shoot well and does not have as many issues as the smaller cm/pm have . Mainly shooter or ammo related.
You could also buy a s&w 642 or 442 revolver and have a smith or you change the hammer spring to a Wolf RP . It will be as good .

Hey, the OP said he fell in love with his CM9 again, not that he didn't trust it.

At least not until the patents expire 17 years after they were issued.

There are many posts on curing nose dive problems. Read them and cure yours, or send the gun back to Kahr. There is no reason why your gun can't be made to function as reliably as mine. Zero defects.
