Dang! I went looking for a G19C... another pistol "for Wifey", but high-cap. That was my story, anyhow.:D

Couldn't find one at Shooters or at the gun show... and mags were in short supply and rising in cost... even the plastic copies.:rolleyes:

I did handle a 23C at Shooters, but like I said, it was supposed to be for my wife.:D

I'm still thinking about the 23C, though... a Gen 4 would be nice with 3 mags included.

I finished up our addition to the new Glock Wing today. Wifey's G19 arrived and I already have procured enough mags to keep us going for a while.

Wifey isn't impressed with her "battle pistol". She doesn't think it is a proper birthday present! <sigh>

Dude, you must have a serious Glock collection going there. How nice for you.

Parrot Head, I got one of them Russian revolvers and the rifle too. It's actually a great little gun. It's the crudest put together thing I've ever seen but it works and it's easy and mine shoots pretty good. I haven't shot it alot, a member here, forgive me for forgetting who, sent me a bunch of ammo for it, the ammo is totally weird too but it works and shoots nice.

I love the inch long hammer spear on the thing, like a snake sticking out of the hammer looking to bite that primer.

Colt Lawman Mk III (middle revolver) - Gift from my grandfather (mothers side)
Winchester Model 94 (top rifle) - Inherited from my grandfather (fathers side)
Marlin Model 25 (bottom rifle) - Gift from my father, added the scope myself.

The rest I acquired on my own.

Ruger LCP (right pistol)
S&W M&P 40 (left pistol)
Colt LE6920 (middle rifle)

My family is pretty small. I get my daughter out of college and into the real world then I can adopt some more 'orphans'. Do have some sweet shotguns too but they didn't make the photo shoot....

As a minister, I cannot confess to having an addiction ... but I am enjoying my newfound hobby. Having said that, I am probably going to kick one of the babies out of the nest, as I have decided I prefer all-metal rather than plastic pistols.

I've gone the other way... embracing polymers. I like black plastic, I guess!

5 Polymer Kahrs and 3.5 Glocks. I keep thinking about a G27... with ported barrel... or Mag-na-porting! And... I still want a P45.

That explains why you're selling the K9 with the Crimson Trace. I don't suppose you'd swap a CM9 with CT for it would you? On second thought ... forget I asked ... if you like plastic you probably already have a CM9 anyway.

I had a cleaning "frenzy" today and cleaned four pistols from the last two range trips, as well as the other three polymer Kahrs I hadn't fired in a while... wanted to get the dust and lint cleaned out of my EDC's. :D

Anyhow, I decided a photo shoot was needed for the polymers.

Ammo pix as well, and another shot of the Mag-na-ported P40 with XS Big Dot FS and Trijicon 2-dot RS... a work in progress.

The recoil is probably similar, but I have the ported barrel on my P9... got one while they were on sale at Kahr. It doesn't drop the recoil quite as much as the upward ports, but it also directs the flash away from the muzzle and it isn't as bright or dangerous to an inattentive or incautious shooter.

I'm still trying to sort out what pistols to carry on our trip. I put the Ruger MKIII 22/45 Lite in one of those Midway single pistol range bags along with ammo and loaded mags. Then I put the G19 in the other bag with loaded mags and ammo, along with the TacSol .22 conversion and loaded mags and ammo for it. We will be able to shoot in the backyard in snow and cold without having to load any mags... usually short sessions on Christmas day, but we're leaving late because my van is in the shop... with more bad news... it needs a new transfer case on top of the new transmission. This is turning into serious money! Hopefully, this was the ultimate reason for the tranny failure and the drive train will be like "new" plus have a 3-year/36K mile warranty. I'm just thankful that it didn't fail on our trip that should have put us in SW Colorado for Christmas! I'm so glad that I didn't delay getting it checked out before the probably 4,500-mile round trip! I think that they finally found the reason for the CLUNK that I've been complaining about for many years!

yeah this was considered used looks like 2 mags through it max, everything from the factory 2 mags test fired 7-14 it was a no brainer purchase for what i pd for it.

Muy bueno!!!!! I have a buddy with an SD9. He got his from a divored friend of the family that didn't want to lose it in the divorece.

Compared it to my SW40VE or Sigma. It has a bit more style than the Sigmas. Trigger doesn't seem too much better that the Sigma.

have'nt shot it yet but i'm sure it'll be a great shot on target, i know my 4.5 XDM 45 is dead on the mark so i'm sure this 5 will be impressive.
i think the 3.5 is the Mod 2 sub compact version.

Is that one of them Lords single shot derringers. I had a pair in a case for a bit, I think they belonged to the neighbor, I did something to them, don't recall what.
Kind of cool, tried talking him out of them but he wasn't having it. Not much of a gun guy.
I hear his son who is growing up probably 16 or so by now I reckon or close likes guns a lot. Don't see him too often but need to get him out shooting.
My son's not being around all the time I need a new pard I reckon.
Yep, that's one of the single shot .22 Short derringers - I think a company called Butler started making them first (patterned after the antique .41 caliber Colt #3 derringer), then Colt bought them out. My Dad bought the tiny thing at a gun show for $20, then when he walked into the house Mom said "that's MY gun". And so it was.
Last week while perusing the Wallyworld ammo cabinet, I saw a couple boxes of CCI CB Shorts (100 count) for $9.97 each. Bought them both, as I hadn't seen any shorts for years.

Gave one box to my brother who has a Winchester 1906 Gallery Model pump rifle that shoots only shorts, so he'll be happy to launch a little bit of lead with it again.

^^^ that's a dangerous (for me) picture there Jeepster. I've been aching for a stainless SW for a long time. 686+ snub would be perfect. Stay away from the gun store, stay away from the gun store... If I say it enough it might just work. :o

Back in the day I bought some of those old H&R Toppers when a local department store went out of business - got two in 20 gauge and two in 12 @ $48/each. Gave them to my kids, and had this 12 gauge cut to 19" for my truck gun (that's one of those cheap slip on rubber recoil pads under the stock sock):
