View Full Version : PM9 slide rail issue?

I have 250 rounds through my new PM9 after two range sessions. I did not notice the "notch" in the slide rail after the initial cleaning or the cleaning after the first range visit. This "notch" may or may not have been there all along... I simply don't know. Please refer to the circled area of picture referenced by the link below. Is this "situation normal?" Any advice is appreciated. The gun ran perfectly during this session. Sincerely, Neall

Great to hear. This is now going to be my EDC and I love this gun. I did not want to send it back for inspection.

Just wondering... do you think this happened along the way, or was it manufactured this way? I pride myself in being observant, yet I hadn't noted this little anomaly previously. I'll quit worrying about it. neall

Listen to rubb, it's a witness mark for the molding process. Every poly frame gun will have the exact same notch in the exact same spot.

Nothing at all to be concerned about.
