It was said somewhere in the comments to another article but when the constitution was penned there was no internet (freedom of speech) and there wasn't news reporters that would report as news whatever they heard (freedom of the press) so to suggest the 2nd amendment is archaic because of the technological advances of weaponry is just holding on to what best benefits you and taking away the rest.
