No great loss. After you've seen the show a couple of times it's the same old same old.

I suspect this is just the beginning. Firearms related shows have always had a hard time getting aired, and I would expect the end of them on mainstream networks.

I didn't realize that this network was forcing anyone to watch the program. I guess they don't care about their first amendment rights. As I see it, small loss. The show was entirely unrealistic.

no they care about sponsors and $ though

probably gonna get worse before it gets better to. Just sayin.

We gun owners at this time are not going to get alot of sympthaty. We gotta let the Sandy familys this week to mourn and the public to watch and the TV to cover it and just hope that down the road cooler heads will prvail. But quite honestly, this time I think gun owners are in for a heh of a ride.

I think the politicians this time are just gonna raise a wet finge rin the air to see which way the wind is blowing and that willbe their direction.

I think this time we good gun law abiding gun owners are gonna fall under the heading of "collateral damage".

Cheaper Than Dirt is no longer selling guns.

There are sheriffs no longer signing for the purchase of AR15s.

I am going to buy some ammo and hunker down with what I have.

That has to be bogus, a sheriff can't say yea or nea to a rifle purchase.
Don't know about Cheaper Than Dirt, if that's true it's a dumb move on their part.

I actually saw some liberal COMPLAINING about the NRA laying low during this latest atrocity. Like they were mad they had no one to argue with. What can the NRA say about this that they haven't said many times before. If people didn't get the message then, they sure aren't going to get it while they are full of anger and bitterness at the NRA for "allowing" this tragedy to happen. The idiocy of some groups and people never ceases to amaze me. I saw one post that kind of jerked my chain a little, it said "If the first thing you thought about after hearing about the atrocity was 'here comes more attempts to grab my guns' rather than to feel sorry for the community, then you were some kind of inhumane monster. I posted back and said, most the gun sights I have visited expressed the utmost sympathy for the victims and their familes, and then said "But I wonder how many anti-gunner's first thought was here is an opportunity to pass more gun control laws?"

Cheaper than dirt is shooting themselves in the foot, but I think we're going to see a whole lot more bad....

I heard tonight where the komifornia pension funds who has over 600 million invested in the gun companies like Ruger and Smith, are now gonna look over their funds . Now how much sense does that make. Ruger and Smith are not eveninvolved, let along why should the pension funds bow to this crap. Sounds like the union gestapo method. Put pressure on them and they will make changes, doesn't matter if it is good or bad. Its all about perception

Indeed cheaper than dirt is not doing the shootingindstry right. We are asked to support them buy buying through them then they take chickedn sh!t attitude like this. Do they think John, Doe citizen who is not a gun owner is the buyer of their products. Its a herd mentality right now, go against the herd andu might get trampled

Stupid is as stupid does...

cheaper than dirtbags shot themselves in the foot with me in '08/'09 when the listed a one box limit of crappy blazer aluminum .380 for over 60 bucks. I've never checked their website or their print ads since. Traded off my last .380 pistol shortly thereafter. I think I got my emergency whistle (to wear on a chain safely tucked under my sweater vest) and a two cell flashlight in the trade.

CTD was never on my favorites list anyway. There will be many enterprising start-up companies (with real ballz) that will fill in the potholes left by these loser companies.

Agreed. They do not deserve anyone's business. Period.

Unfortunately everyone else is running out of everything. It is going to be a hard time to run a retail shop with no inventory and none coming.

I don't care much one way or the either myself. Just looked at their web site for the first time and it does say they are temporarily suspending internet sales while they reevaluate so there's a very slim chance that they may come to their senses. I didn't even know they sold guns.

I don't know nothing about facebook but apparently they have a facebook page and their like and don't like is taking a real beating. Dropping supporters enmass so maybe that will send a message too.

The owner had a reputation for being an asshat and plick. No loss. Friends in the area seriously questined his operations honesty and integrity.

I don't know why we all have to sit here and defend our rights because one nut job decided to act in a manner we call blatantly identify as wrong.

Very funny to me... We watch NCIS and very raw autopsies and violence as well as Criminal Minds with very twisted, perverted and weird killers. yet a sport of competitive shooting is some how too influential on people's morals. We can watch very steamy soap opera scenes, all the way to hard core pornography, but the gun.... needs to be banned. There's a record amount of prescription drugs out there like Lithium, Prozac, Xanax, and many other mood numbing, mind altering pharmaceuticals and therein lies the problem. The Gun being turned into the Bad Guy. Societal issues are the biggest problem for the gun, not the caliper, the make, type or model. When we stop selling them to these prescription junkies and keep them secure from these people we then start REAL Gun Control.

I hope History channel doesn't cancel Top shot.

Me too. My wife and I really enjoyed that show. Why would they want to cancel clean professional shooting sports shows that present the right way to handle firearms? If they do that, they really need to cancel tv shows that glorify people shooting people. It all looks real to kids and adults watching (that is the point of Hollywood). So the argument that those guns and the shootings are "not real" doesn't hold water.
