I recently joined this informative forum to learn from the experts. I purchased a CM9 which arrived at my FFL earlier today. I called them to inquire if I could stop by and pick it up. They said that they have had wall-to-wall customers all day for past few days and would not get to checking in my CM9 until tomorrow end of day or maybe on Friday.
So I'm trying to become a bonafide Kahrtalk member, but thanks to Obama, it appears that possession of my CM9 will need to wait a few more days.

Welcome. Remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Your doing them a favor doing business there, not the other way around it seems.

Busy is good for them, they won't be so busy if paying customers have to wait for what they already bought.

Especially if they have patience like I do which is very little.

+1 what Jocko said and find a new FFL. I travel 3 hours to my FFL because he treats people right. What you experienced is plain bull sheet. OH FWIW my Kahr likes to run wet.

They have to fill out FFL paperwork with every sale. You ought to be at the front on the line. I think I'd deal with someone else AFTER you have the gun in your hands.
