The PM40 is new to me as I don't have anything this light weight. Excepting the G27 my other 40's are full size. So I'm wondering if anyone has found a load that shoots well without failures? I prefer 180 gr in most of my 40's with the exception of Rem 165 Golden Sabre for the G27. I guess I'm thinking that being a light gun then lighter bullets would be a better choice? Anyone with ideas on this?

That looks like a good choice. I'll try them. Probably a good choice for home defense as well.

I shoot Winchester Ranger 180GR JHP in my CM40. Pistol runs flawless with them, as it does all ammo thus far, and they hit HARD.

I like Gold Dots in 165 grain.

I enjoyed shooting it this weekend. No failures. It even digested some reloads (155 plated w/6 gr 231) that were loaded in 1996). I've got an El Paso pocket holster ordered for it. If it works, I'll leave the extension on the mag.
