Hello from South Texas! Went to gun show yesterday and picked up a CW9 to compliment my G19 for CC. Got the CW home, opened box to clean it, and the owners manual is for Thompson & Auto 1911 models? Shot Kahr an email, just thought I'd post it here and introduce myself, thanks, Kel

Hi Kel, welcome aboard and congrats on the CW9! I have a CW9 too and love it. That is a bummer about the wrong manual. Kahr will send you the right one (I hope).
Here is the PDF manual so you don't have to wait to begin reading...

Welcome to the place!
bet that happened through the dealer/show display than thru Kahr, but I'm sure they'll send you a manual.
Isn't it available for download too? It should be!

There is nothing wrong with "unloading" on a target, but if you mean sell it, that is a different story! ;)

Welcome 68blackbird to kahrtalk and congrats on the CW9...Do read the stickys in the new member section as was mentioned before, there is much good info there...DO READ the manual as Kahrs have a few minor differences from others semi autos and it will save you much time and grief doing the takedown/reassembly thing...
Now go out and shoot that fine little 9 and if you have any questions at all just post away and there are lots of good folks here that will be more than willing to help you out if you need it....Happy shooting and good luck!!!

Hey guys, he probably thinks we don't read the posts! It was suggested to download the manual a few times and with links. He said he already downloaded it but he still wants the original.

Just wanted to update, got correct manual from Kahr, good to go.
Also, I wanted to say that this really is one of the best forums I have had the pleasure to in. I don't really read much, but have read more from being "here" than I have in loooong time. Just finished the "can't get the slide to come off" thread...wow, what an awesome group. The reason I bought a CW9 was because a buddy just got a CM9, I liked the action on it. I showed this forum to him today, told him make sure you read the "Proper prep of new Kahr" before he did anything! The way GP explains and shows with the great pics is as good as I've seen anywhere. I admire the way jocko will give someone advice, then they question him about what he says, jocko says "hey, iv onllygot 32,000 rrnds thru myne, thisis the way I doit, doo as yuo wish, whatta I know?"
My CW9 is polished, lubed ready to fire, been racking the slide in my spare time, have to say it is much easier than it was out of the box, just need to get a day where the weather cooperates, many thanx to all of you here! Kelly
