I am trying to look for a good IWB Holster that I can conceal very deep. Right now I am using a uncle mikes pocket holster for IWB carry(kinda like remora holsters). I want the holster and gun to ride pretty darn low, I have been looking into PJ holsters, Foxx holsters, Remora holsters, and Crossbreed super tuck.
I love my crossbreed for my G19 and it is the best and most comfortable holster that I have ever used, but it seems like too much holster for the CM9. even the mini tuck looks big. I like to ride my guns very low with barely able to get a combat grip on the guns. Comfortable for me and practiced a lot to get a consistent draw on the gun.
The PJ holster and the Remora holsters seem like the final candidates. How low does the PJ holster ride? It seems like a lot of people love the PJ holsters on this forum.

Contact Paul at PJ Holsters (http://pjholster.com/)and tell him what you want. He'll work with you for the ride height and cant that suits your carry style. I have 2 and one is set up to ride very deep.

I tried several IWBs and still have 3. What I settled on and works well with my CM9 is a smartcarry. It allows me a tucked in shirt and no real bulge at all. I can carry a magazine as well. It goes in front over my shirt and under the belt buckle. Strange as it sounds it works well all day, sitting or moving. If you let the tail of the shirt cover the strap there is no riding up to show problem. It takes a somewhat loose pair of jeans, and a non snug belt. Pulling is easy and quick.

I have 4 holsters for my CM9: Remora, PJ, N82 Tactical, and Don Hume. Each one has it's positive and negative points. The one that I grab over and over again is the PJ (IWB with over-the-belt clip). It has the best combination of security, minimal bulk, comfort, right height, and simplicity. Well worth the cost and wait time.

N82 Tactical Professional holster with my spare mag in a Recluse holder in my pocket.
I have the N82 tuckable version. It is for a 4" 1911, but I found everything
I have fits it well except a Glock 30sf. The CM9 fits even better than the 1911. Good products and good people.

PJ has been the best IWB for me. However I just received one from Performance Holsters & I think it is going to send the PJ to "the holster drawer".

i use uncle mikes #36 iwb holster (8936-2 LH) for my CM9, right in the center of my back this is where i always carry mine.
fits the holder like a glove & is very smooth inside & out, so you have no worries about showing wear on the gun or rubbing your skin to the point of irratation.
this is a clip on holder not a belt loop, so you can place anywhere in seconds.
was very fortunate to run across this @ a local gun show a few months back for $5.

Ride height comparo.. I luv my Mitch Rosen CLP.. judge for yourself.
If you want EVEN lower, I think Alessi used to have one that sits BELOW the belt line -- ont sure if they still make it, you can visit their web site for sure

BTW... if you didn't know:
That "BIG" clip on MitchRosen CLP let you carry without a belt... and you can even OWB that same little CLP on pants with 7 bet loops (Carhartt, Dickies.. etc..)
... now you know :-)
I'm too old school.. I just prefer leather touching my skin....

My favorite holster for my PM9 is a blade-tec eclipse. It is OWB but it's easy to conceal, especially in the winter.
However, if it's summer time and I'm wearing shorts (even without a belt) and a tank top
I use a smart carry. You can adjust the carry depth and location of the gun just by adjusting the strap.

If really low and simple is the desire there are two that go below the belt completely.
The smartcarry is the most comfortable and you can carry a mag, or money, or anything small. My favorite every day. Easiest to get to as well.
A belly band is as simple as you can get and for real small guns like the CM9 it works. Also can carry mags, etc.
I have a crossbreed, a T82, a Don Hume, galco. They all set in my gunsafe.

If you ask this question you'll get as many answers as there are holsters. Everyone has their personal preference and almost no one is using the first holster that they purchased. Go with what you are comfortable. My person preference for EDC is a PJ Holster AIWB, but that's just me.

I have a DM Bullard Dual Carry for both my XD9SC and PM9. Can wear either comfortably all day. I'd heard about having a drawer full of holsters before you find the one you like but I have been very happy with this holster and it's the only one (2) I have. Adjustable for height and cant, IWB or OWB. Perfect for me...maybe I'm just lucky.

I use an Uncle Mikes #3 for pocket carry when wearing a dress shirt but my favorite way to carry is in an IWB holser from Kusiak Leather. He makes the holsters himself and guarantees satisfaction. Price is just $35 or $45 with a built-in mag holder. What is that grip on your PM9/CM9? Both the grip and the holster look comfortable, although I still have a problem carrying a loaded firearm pointed at my junk! I'm also too fat to get anything else in my waistband besides my waist.

It's a Lone Wolf Kwik Grip - paid $10 for it shipped on eBay but you can get it from Lone Wolf (http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1150&CAT=84) for the same price, plus shipping. As to carrying it with one in the pipe, if you don't, when the SHTF you might as well throw your weapon at the BG. "Excuse me, Mister Criminal, would you mind waiting until I rack my gun, lock it back, and then use the release to bring it into battery?" I was with my bride on one of our walks on our rural island when a truck pulled up with 3 scruffy looking folks scrunched in the front seat. I was carrying with an empty chamber and a full mag. They just wanted directions but I felt like it would have turned out really bad if they had other intentions. Ever since then I carry my CM9 ready to go. A good holster, the Kahr trigger, and careful attention to what I'm doing when carrying make me feel very comfortable.

Reverse those pictures and you'd be looking at me now! (Lefty.) :p Even the Qwik-Grip! I had decided that AIWB (or the lefty version ... GutIWB?) is my highly favored carry position for small pistols. But I was frustrated, not having been able to find a holster that would work for me to carry my CM9 that way. But I saw this detailed review of the Kusiak holster and decided to give it a try. And, boy, am I ever delighted! :D Everything about this simple looking holster is an engineering tour de force:
the superb clip that makes it so stable it is like the holster is bolted to my belt and yet is easy on and off,
the perfect retention,
the smooth draw,
that it stays open for easy one handed reholstering,
the perfect ride height that keeps the gun from jamming into my leg when I am seated,
the unique way that the leather is joined end to end at the back, which minimizes it's size and creates a smooth rounded contour that contributes to 24/7 comfort,
and the fact that it is smoothly finished and constructed of finest Herman Oak leather.
Thank you, southsound, for informing me about this holster! :yo:

I'm not disputing the carry with one in the pipe thing. I agree. It's the AIWB placement that I am uncertain about for me for a couple of reasons. Firstly, pointing at my junk or my femoral artery makes me uncomfortable as opposed to in my pocket or 4,5,6 o'clock. Secondly, I just tried to sit down with just the UNLOADED PM9 tucked in my waistband AIWB. It digs into the top of my thigh or groin. I also probably need to push myself away from the dinner table a little sooner or get bigger pants!
Regardless, I purchased one of these Kusiak IWB holsters based on the recommendations of southsound and JFootin as you guys have far more experience with this type of carry. I also have a PJ in-pocket kydex holster on order with another 4-5 weeks wait. I have been carrying in my front pocket in a very nice GURU PocketHolster (http://www.pocketholsters.com/Kahr_Arms_Pocket-Wallet_Holste/kahr_arms_pocket-wallet_holster.html) that doesn't print the firearm but does look like I have a wallet in my front pocket.
Kusiak's site said that this is specific for the PM. I am hoping that it will also fit my soon-to-arrive MK9 as well as my PM9.
Thanks for your guidance.

I have two of them, one for my PM9 and one for my G27. These holsters are GREAT! Priced right, fast turn-around time. Check him out. I also own a couple of PJ holsters, Great also, but Bob is going to give Paul some friendly competition.;)

I use a Remora IWB. Have 1 with reinforced top, 1 without, both with sweat shield. Love em. Have 1 for my G19 as well, but they seem to work better with smaller guns. Never had a problem with it wanting to fall out, and it is ideal for me since I can't carry into the office. Easy on easy off.

Here's my thread on the AIWB PJ holster. you could ask him to make it ride lower, but if you did, you probably wouldn't be able to sit down. It doesn't need to ride low if it's AIWB though because it is already very concealed.

Bar none, the PJ IWB worn just behind the hip with one of these CMs in it is as good as it gets. It continues to amaze me how the gun and holster meld to my body so I cannot feel them there at all, and have to reach back there every so often and touch the gun to confirm it is still there! Cudos to Paul for his great holsters! :yo:
This Kusiac is fantastic!
And for me, the Kusiac is the perfect AIWB holster for the CMs. Also "forget it is there" comfortable. Great steel clip that is easy on/off yet locks the holster on the belt like it is screwed down. So cudos to Pepi, too! :yo:

I just picked up an awesome holster today and posted about it. Heres the thread link if you're interested. I have a CW9 but they make them for different barrel lengths.

Somebody on one of the threads on here (I wish I could give the credit where credit is due, but I can't find the thread) told me about a simple pocket carry holster (see below) called a Stays-Put by ConcealmentSpecialties.com. They said that for $14.95 you couldn't beat it. I bought one and although I've barely had a chance to use it, I have to say I really like it. It does a good job of hiding things in my baggy pants pocket, and it absolutely does stay put. I've done a lot of dry fire draws and the holster never comes out ... only the pistol.
Now here's the other part ... I thought, I wonder how it would do as an AIWB? And it works really well. The outer material is so adhesive (but not really sticky though) that it just sits there tucked right behind my belt buckle, and it doesn't go anywhere ... even though there's nothing to tie it to my belt. It doesn't work its way down into my crotch, it just sits there right where it's supposed. I have an IWB Kydex, but this is way more comfortable. I tried it last night with baggy shorts and a tee-shirt not tucked in.
The one down-side is that to put the gun back in the holster you pretty much have to take it out of your pocket or out of your waistband. But like someone on this thread said earlier, if you ever really have to use it, you'll probably have plenty of time afterwards to do just that.
P.S. I almost think it was Jocko who told me (since he knows almost everything), but I'm not sure.

Yeah, it's me, RevRay. I cannot lie. :D I use it primarily for AIWB carry, which is about 10:30 for this lefty, behind my left front belt loop. If you are a righty, that would be 1:30. I normally wear a gun belt and I like my jeans to stay up, so I cinch it up pretty tight. When I put my gun there in the Stays-Put, I don't loosen the belt. I slide the holster in pretty deep with a reverse cant so that the front of the grip is laying on top of my belt. With the gun and grip laying down next to my belt, my middle aged belly expands above it causing an untucked shirt to drape over it with no printing. If I put it at zero cant, the grip angles upward and gets pushed out by my belly and prints. The reverse cant also aids the natural draw from that position.
This is concealed carry, not Quick Draw McGraw. When I draw the gun, I start out pinching the rubber grip sleeve between my thumb and forefinger and then shift to a full combat grip. As you know, drawing the gun from the holster is easy because it is lined with slick nylon.
The holster rides up just a bit when I draw, and it is molded to make it stay open. I find it quite easy to reholster one handed, after which I use my weak hand to hold the belt and pants while I push the gun/holster back down as deep as I want it to ride. I think the difficulty you are having reholstering has to do with where you are positioning the holster, which is not AIWB, it is B(elly)IWB. (Doesn't that get in your way when you pee?)

Thanks, JFootin. I'm glad to clarify who gave me the good feedback. And pleased that I'm not the only one who thinks the optional use of the Stays-Put pocket carry holster is a good idea. I shall try your 1:30 suggestion out to see how it feels.
You're right, I am actually wearing it BIWB, and yes it makes peeing a little difficult. I also discovered that I have to use the thumb & forefinger at first, but it seems to just flow right up into a proper grip as I pull it out. And also like you, it helps to have a sufficient supply of JBCC ... Jelly Belly Concealment Contour.

My belly kinda flattens out a little on either side at 10:00 and 2:00, and protrudes the most right in front. Seems a little softer there (10 & 2), too, so it kinda forms a pocket for the gun/holster. And drawing from there is so subtle. You can keep your shoulder down and your arm next to your side as you draw with a rearward motion (a rearward cant to the holster helps with this). Compare this to drawing from behind the hip, with the shoulder hunching and the elbow flying out, telling everyone you are drawing a gun.

I have a Theis holster custom made for my Kahr CM9 with Crimson Trace Laser Guard. It is a IWB. My favorite is 5.11 Tactical S/S Holster shirt. It fits like a compression shirt and has a slot to slide you gun in. Fits just under your armpit. You can wear anything over it and never see it. It is great in the summer when wearing a polo shirt. You can find them for around $50.00

Let me tell you if you want one of the simplest, most effective grab and go holsters, you need to give one of these baby's!! It's made of a fabric that is really tacky and when you put it in place it stays there! I came across these at a local gun show and met the man that owns the company. I'm fortunate enough to be able to try different styles and sizes of his holsters and they perform as promised! The prices are fair and I can recommend them highly!

Thanks for the tip, JFootin. I tried moving the holster over to the right of my belly, and it actually sits nicely tucked down in there, and it doesn't print at all. It also feels better, and as you said, drawing it from there is easier as well. I never even thought to try it there as I just assumed that it would print if it wasn't right under my belly. That's why they pay all you big wigs the big bucks. Oh ... and peeing is much easier ... just saying.

I think he'd be better off if they could :) And he will be shooting with a few different guns that day so at some point he will have to take it off or put it on. I could also shoot his buddy a message and have him ask about the new setup. It's the least I can do. Man drives me nuts most days.

Those are not eyelets but just washers to support the screw heads.
I imagine you can adjust the cant by moving the front belt loop down for more forward cant or less the way it is set up now. Actually reverse that, using the lower holes would be less cant, not more. It's still early for me.
It's a good setup it looks like. I don't have one but looks decent.

Bawanna hit the nail on the head. They're for cant adjustment. Right now it's an FBI cant. Using the other washers will provide for a straight draw.

I have a N82Tactical Pro for a PM-45. Living in Florida I wear light clothing and like to carry IWB . I have found that the aggressive texture of most polymer framed guns acts like a cheese grater against my skin especially since I've put on a few extra pounds, this is a non issue with Nate's holsters. Very well made and the most comfortable holster I have ever worn. They also protect your firearm from sweat damage.

I recently purchased a PM 45 and having purchased a Crossbreed Super Tuck for my Glock 23, I thought I'd repeat that purchase for my new Kahr. But Crossbreed is several months out on their shipping and can't give you a shipment date better than that, so I started searching for an alternative. I met Ryan Buckley the president of Bucks Holsters at a local gun show and his company manufactures a model similar to what I was looking for and was able to provide me a holster, the "Pro Tucker" http://www.bucksholsters.com/category-s/1817.htm in a matter of weeks, so I went with that. It has been a fantastic addition to my holster sets for this great little big bore Kahr!! It's one of the most discreet and comfortable holsters I've ever worn. Best of all the price is very, very fair! :D

I previously posted that I like the Stays Put holster that JFootin put me on to. Yesterday I played with it a little bit and sewed a nylon webbing loop onto the top of it. This way when I use it as an AIWB then I can fold the loop forward and run my belt through it. Even though the sticky outer material pretty much kept it in place, this way it absolutely is not going anywhere. And when I stick it in my pocket the loop actually helps to make sure that the upper end of the slide prints even less.

Hi, I'm brand new on this site: but an FFL and sold literally hundreds of Kahr pistols, mostly PM9, which is my favorite hot weather carry, or deep concealment gun. If you live in hot, humid climate and want IWB carry, definitely get kydex, not leather, as leather will absorb and hold perspiration, kydex won't! You definitely should get a slide guard, that piece of material that comes up around back of slide that prevents back of slide from making contact with your sweaty body!
My first PM9 was 7 years ago and bought a Comp-Tac, kydex IWB with slide guard. When CT laser came out, bought Blade-Tech, kydex, IWB with slide guard AND J HOOKS, better than steel clip, as j hooks clamp onto bottom of belt, making it impossible to pull holster out with gun! Took 6 weeks to get it and very well make!
Looking forward to meeting and talking with all of you!

Here is a review of the North Star IWB holster I ordered for my CM9.
Let me start by saying that Bruce was great to work with. The holster arrived in about a week which I thought was very fast. I did have an issue with the clips not being tall enough to clip over my 1 1/2 inch belt. You could slide it through the clips, but not clip it over the belt.
Bruce made me a new slightly taller set and shipped them to me at no cost. Great customer service.
The holster is very well made and looks like it will be durable. The fit is very tight but I am sure it will loosen with wear. The finish is not as good as my OTW El Paso Saddlery holster I have for my CZ75b but being a IWB, finish is going to get banged anyway.
All in all I am very pleased. I can't say I don't feel it at all, but after a while, you do sort of forget you have it on until you twist a certain way that makes you take notice.

I felt similarly about Crossbreed before I tried Concealment Solutions. CS is better in every regard, imo. Especially reholstering as the kydex rides higher than the belt line and is welled slightly to better receive when reholstering. FWIW, my impressions are similar to the guy in this video. Long winded in the beginning, he doesn't get to comparing the holsters until about 6:00 in:

I received my holster today from Mark Garrity (Garrity Gunleather). The quality is top notch. Ordered on March 1st and received today! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/12/dac8f08621fe05c0bb5854772a21039c.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/12/20bb4706af6cedb0e8da48201de1359d.jpg

Might have to give it a shot next time!

Im now a big fan of the Sticky holster (similar to Remora). IWB or pocket, very versatile.

Thanks for the heads up on Containment Solutions. I carry in a High Noon Split Decision which disappears under a tucked in shirt. I like to have a Kydex OWB for the range and Fobus doesn't make one for my PM45. Hopefully I'll find one at CS.

Kusiak Leather finally has the PM/CM series with a forward cant. Just received my new 'Bare Bones' model with a forward cant. I waited 2 years for this amazing holster and it was worth the wait. Amazing! This is a leather holster, with no stitching seams, no bulk, and a forward cant. If you're like me, and want the thinness of Kydex, with the quality of leather and a metal clip, this is your holster. Love it!! Works perfect for me IWB at the 4:00 position. $36. Perfect.http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g9/khoff2/Mobile%20Uploads/image.jpg (http://s52.photobucket.com/user/khoff2/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image.jpg.html)

Alien Gear 3.0 is what my PM9 is currently riding in... Paired with a SOE Gear EDC belt it rides really snug and comfortable.
