He was one of a very few remaining larger than life heros in my lifetime. And unfortunately, GHW Bush, himself somewhat of a WWII hero, may not be far behind.

That generation lived in a totally different America than where we are today, all sacrificed...many with their lives... so we can live like a bunch of pampered panzies in today's America.
