Does anyone have experience with the Enhanced Trigger? I was wondering how much different it is from the regular trigger.

Thanks.

here is what I have been told. It is the same trigger poundage as in all kahrs. It is 1/8"less trigger travel which brings it down to 1/4" trigger travel over ur now 3/8" trigger travel. A real reason why it will only be available on kahrs with an external safety. a 1/4" is in glock territory and with no safety on ur kahr, for me anyhow, not a good pocket gun..

I am told it will not be an after market part for the kahrs we have now.

I have shot my standard PM9 in some IDPA carry gun matches and a couple of times I found myself pulling the trigger before letting it fully reset. Nothing more practice cannot solve but I was curious about the enhanced trigger reset.

probably gonna be the same as all kahrs. U really outta let up on the trigger anyhow and let the gun completely recycle just to be sure.. We don't have alot of owners with this enhanced trigger yet to give us the kind of feed back we can go with. Ur question IMO would be at best trigger reset would be no more or no less than 1/8", not sre onecold ever gauge that or try to even..

I have owned both the standard PM9, now sold, and have recently bought a PM9 with enhanced trigger. The new trigger feels lighter and crisper than the old trigger. The length of pull, as previously said, is shorter, but it feels much shorter. All in all, my shooting is more accurate and feels more like a 1911 trigger than any other pocket 9mm. While PM9 fans who have not shot the new trigger may think the difference is minimal, that is incorrect. The difference, esepecially to 1911 shooters is palpable . I'd advise anyone thinking about buying a PM9 to shoot the new trigger and see for yourself.

Many will pass on it due to the manual safety..

There is one pocket 9mm that would be more like a 1911 than a pm9 enhanced & that would be the Sig p938.

Check Utube. The Sig 938 is known to shoot low and costs too much.

solo is strikerfired and evenkimber classifys it as a single action. That sig IMO is just a small 1911. stillsingle action,k still hammer fired. Not in the same category as the PM series, now I would classify the Kimber solo at first view in the kahr category, it is striker fired, dao, but with a 1911 staging.

Not to many semi's out there that can cuddle up to the kahr trigger system. U either love it or u hate it. .IMO if u wanna bust cans at 25 yards more than likely u hate it, if u want it to save u life, u normally love it..:blah:

Totally agree with this trigger statement. I sold my PM9 after searching for a Shield for my wife. I found 2 out of luck and grabbed em both. One for the wife and one to pass on to a buddy. I shot the shield and pm at the range, and liked the reset on the shield. I wrestled with selling the pm or keeping it as I can't afford multiple pistols. The shield finally won out for me while shooting at a variety of targets outdoors. I just shoot more predictable and consistant with a trigger with a obvious reset. That being said, the PM9 trigger is fantastic for a self defense situation, at least for me. But the Shield is a more versatile pistol for my situation. I miss that PM almost daily, and will no doubt own another when the funds will allow, but have decided to pick up a p380 or cw380 for summer pocket carry to get my Kahr fix again.
