New Kahr owner from Georgia

Hello all

The Kahr CW9 was in the running for my wife's EDC gun. She eventually settled on the Walther PPS, due to its similarity to the Glock trigger system (we own several Glocks and was the first handgun she fired).

I've had the bug to try a Kahr more in depth after we rented one during her considerations.

I picked up the CW9 as a Black Friday inpulse buy. I was carrying a Glock 36, but have since gotten away from 45acp. (my wife never liked the recoil). So since she likes and will regularly shoot 9mm, I have condensed all my pistols to 9mm.

Now that I have gotten away from 45acp, I'm on the hunt for my own daily carry, so I'm giving the CW9 a go over the Glock 26 for a bit.

I got a new holster for Christmas and I've been wearing it all week. Man this thing is slim!

Looking forward to hanging out and participating.

Welcome to the Forum. The CW9 is really nice. TRaded mine for a CM9 and have missed my CW9 since. To fill the gap though I got myself a CW45.

Yeah. Yeah. I know.

But I've got a cooperative wife that likes to shoot and carry. She just never took to any of the 45 guns (glock 21sf and 36). She didn't care for 1911's either.

She has liked just about every 9mm gun she's tried (and shoots them well). I'd rather she have great shot placement, then be fighting to hang onto it every shot.

Why fight it? Plus, I can stock up tons of 9mm ammo...

Hello, jason, and welcome from Missouri to a really great forum. Good people and info here! I have the K9 for my CCW and love it - all stainless version of your CW9 but same size. Selected it over the Glock 26 because it was much thinner and all steel.

You'll be back my friend. The 9 is probably perfect for your wife and I'm happy she likes them and shoots them well.

You each wear your own belt, why not a 45 on yours.
