My New Years resolution is to keep being me. It's the only resolution that I have a snowballs chance in hell of keeping. I've been me for a long time and I'm not planning any major make-overs like one elbow on this forum whose name I won't mention. I want to wish all of you the best in the coming year, especially you Jocko. (Damn, I wasn't going to mention his name.) Shoot straight and keep your powder dry. We'll need that powder for the coming insurrection. :)

I went over the physical cliff years ago. The fiscal cliff can't be any worse. I was hoping that the republicans wouldn't cave, but they disappointed me again. I'm planning on organizing a Million Man AR-15 March on Washington, D.C. this Spring. Anyone with me? Oh, I forgot, the boating accident. Happy new year, everyone! Kahrtalk is my cyber home and I really appreciate and value the many quality folks who make up this family. I have been a member for about a year and a half. Mostly a newbie then. While I had owned a variety of guns over 40+ years of adulthood, I had only begun to get serious about self defense and concealed carry more recently. I had a Georgia CC permit, but hadn't used it much. Costs of moving to NC and an unexpected financial blow left me owning just one little 25 caliber pocket gun. I had owned a CW9 and liked it. I intended to start shopping for another one when I found out about the new CM9 and knew I had to have one. I intended to save my money and shop for 2 or 3 months, but this gorgeous custom mirror polished CM9 appeared for sale on Kahrtalk...
http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee486/John_England/My%20Custom%20CM9/KahrCM9PolishedLSwMagandBullets.jpg
I had to have this gun, so I sold my pocket gun and really pinched for a couple of months to tread water after purchasing it.
Since then, I have acquired my NC CC permit and I now carry 100% of the time. I have learned so much from the sages here on Kahrtalk mainly, from other forums and on the Web. I have, frankly, also immersed myself into the enjoyable hobby aspect of gun and accessory ownership.
I have been able to add to my modest collection, first adding the classic S&W Model 638 Airweight. I went through a long and expensive project to get the gun right for my needs, but it is now my favorite carry gun (with the CM9 a close second) and it will be with me for life...
http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee486/John_England/Miscellanious%20Guns%20and%20Holsters/My638-1.jpg
I also added a Taurus 738 TCP 380 as my BUG. A very inexpensive (< $200) and quality gun with natural pointability, a slide stop lever and hold open on last round.
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e172/RuffBuff43/LIS%20Photos/TCP_1715.jpg
And, most recently, I have added a higher capacity compact for home defense and possible carry: the Walther PPQ 9mm. Larry Vickers, the expert trainer, says it is the best striker fired compact on the market. And so does everyone who gets one in their possession. I am extremely pleased with this acquisition. The gun is an ergonomic tour-de-force, extremely well made with hand matched barrel and slide, a trigger that is fantastic right out of the box, and came with a target showing a 1" group of 5 shots made dead center at 15 meters. There is so much that is so right about this pistol! :D
http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee486/John_England/Miscellanious%20Guns%20and%20Holsters/PPQandFrankensteinSmaller.jpg
Most of you know that I love holsters. The search and acquisition of the right ones for every pistol brings me almost as much joy as getting a new gun. And I have met and befriended some of the nicest people who make holsters and belts! :)
I intend to take some quality photos of my guns and holsters and put them in a new thread as soon as I can get around to it...now if I can just find that round toit! I know I had one at one time.

There's a crow trying to "share" the fish now. The osprey is a messy eater and the crow is after the stuff the osprey has dropped... so far!
Several cats have come and gone and now the neighbors are walking all over the yard across the street and the osprey is still there. He/she is determined to finish the fish, though it's dropping as much or more than it's eating. 2:51PM EST.
AND... there's a danged mosquito flying around my window and a wasp was trying to build a nest in my video surveillance camera outside! It's a nice day!
Even Nancy Pelosi on Fox News now, doesn't scare off the osprey! Amazing! 3:03 now.

I saw Django Unchained yesterday.
As expected,
It's basically a 2 hour trailer that's slow, boring and ridiculously bloody.
Then culminates in an ending that is both unbelievable and nonsensical.
Not the worst movie I've ever seen.
But certainly not worth the price of admission.
Recommend you pass on this one...

The Little Bugger
Dave was staring sadly into his pint of beer and
sighed heavily. “What’s up Dave” asked his buddy…
“It’s not like you to be so down in the mouth.”
“It’s my four year old son…” Dave replied.
“Don’t tell me, he’s in trouble for fighting in school?
My boy’s just the same; – forget about it, it happens
to boys that age” said his buddy, sympathetically.
“I only wish it was that” continued Dave, “but it’s far
worse than that. The little bastard has got our
gorgeous 18 year old next door neighbor pregnant.”
“Get out of here, that’s impossible!” gasped the
buddy.
“It’s not” said Dave… “the little bugger stuck a pin in

One evening, after the honeymoon,
he was assembling some loads for an upcoming hunt.
His wife was standing there at the bench watching him.
After along period of silence she finally speaks.
Honey, I've been thinking, now that we are married I think it's time you quit hunting, shooting, handloading, and fishing.
Maybe you should sell your guns and boat.
Tim gets this horrified look on his face.
She says, "Darling, what's wrong?"

"Ex wife!", she screams, "I didn't know you were married before!"

In a dark and hazy room, peering into a crystal ball, the Mystic delivered grave news:
"There's no easy way to tell you this, so I'll just be blunt. Prepare yourself to be a widow. Your husband will die a violent and horrible death this year."
Visibly shaken, Laura stared at the woman's lined face, then at the single flickering candle, then down at her hands.
She took a few deep breaths to compose herself and to stop her mind racing. She simply had to know.
She met the Fortune Teller's gaze, steadied her voice and asked, "Will I be acquitted?"

This 85 year old couple, having been married almost 60 years, had died in a car crash. They had been in good health the last ten years mainly due to her interest in health food, and exercise.
When they reached the pearly gates, St. Peter took them to their mansion which was decked out with a beautiful kitchen and master bath suite and Jacuzzi. As they "oohed and aahed" the old man asked Peter how much all this was going to cost.
"It's free," Peter replied, "this is Heaven."
Next they went out back to survey the championship golf course that the home backed up to. They would have golfing privileges everyday and each week the course changed to a new one representing the great golf courses on earth.
The old man asked, "what are the green fees?".
Peter's reply, "This is heaven, you play for free."
Next they went to the club house and saw the lavish buffet lunch with the cuisine's of the world laid out.
"How much to eat?" asked the old man.
"Don't you understand yet? This is heaven, it is free!" Peter replied with some exasperation.
"Well, where are the low fat and low cholesterol tables?" the old man asked timidly.
Peter lectured, "That's the best part...you can eat as much as you like of whatever you like and you never get fat and you never get sick. This is Heaven."
With that the old man went into a fit of anger, throwing down his hat and stomping on it, and shrieking wildly. Peter and his wife both tried to calm him down, asking him what was wrong.
The old man looked at his wife and said, "This is all your fault. If it weren't for your blasted bran muffins, I could have been here ten years ago!"

Can't sleep, watching the Rifleman and waiting for the range to open.
My NIB and freshly oiled Bulgarian "Krinkov" style SLR-106U pistol is ready to rock.
I guess it's really an AK-74 not AK-47?
It's not 922 compliant and doesn't have to be?
Looks like I lucked out getting a AK in 5.56/.223?
The options with ammo selection is Sweet.
This whole imported gun thingy is complicated.
And likely to get a lot more so in this new year!
It does look like the AKs are already starting to restock.
ARs re-stocking, at least on a limited basis, seems not far behind.
I'm tempted to buy something else too.
But think this baby will be enough to scratch that high cap itch.
That ATM Automag III 30 cal beside me at the range the other day really
rekindled a want to have a rifle caliber pistol I've had for years.
Obummer forced my hand.
But I can't say I'm real mad about this latest unplanned purchase.
Didn't realize the level of quality, and beautiful simplicity, of these high end AKs.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Mine being good is pretty much a forgone conclusion.

A Nebraska Wendy's franchise is slashing employee hours so the owners do not have to pay for health benefits for their workers under ObamaCare's requirements.
WOWT reports about 100 workers in non-management positions at 11 Omaha-area Wendy's will have their hours cut to 28 a week.
Gary Burdette, Vice President of Operations for the local franchise,
tells the station that his restaurants cannot afford to pay for health coverage for all their employees under the new Affordable Health Care Act.
President Obama's health care overhaul requires employers to offer health insurance to employees working 32-38 hours a week.
Wendy's worker T.J. Growbeck says the reduction in hours will have a big effect on him and many of his coworkers.
“I'm hoping that I can get some sort of promotion because then I would get my hours, but everybody is shooting for that because of the hours being cut,”

We went to an Olive Garden restaurant last Sunday after Church for lunch and noticed the line and wait time seemed longer than usual...I went into the restaurant to use he restroom and I saw that half of the restaurant tables were empty...On my way out I passed the manager and asked what was up...He said they had laid off all their full time help and were strictly part time now and they didn't have enough wait staff to open up all the available tables...I asked him was this due to Obama Care? He got a funny look on his face and shook his head yes....
I found out later that Darden Group Inc. that ownes the Olive Garden brand along with LongHorn steakhouse and other similar restaurants across America have decided the only way they can stay in business is to cut staff and go with part time help without benefits or health care so this is the future folks, long lines, long waits and bad service.....Thanks Barry, way to go!!!

"Simple, just come down to the river tomorrow and we'll show you."
The next day the doctor shows up and sees a group of men near a donkey. One man says "Since you're our guest you get to go first."
The doctor not wanting to go against custom starts to kiss, then proceeds to have sex with the donkey. Then a man in the group asks "Are you almost done Doc?" "We need the donkey to cross the river in order to get to the tribe of women."

As I understand the clause in Obama Care (but who really understands this mess of a new tax) they do have a limit for how many part time employees a business can have before they are required by Federal Law to cover those employees under Obummer Care.....
I may be wrong so feel free to correct me if I am but I have heard the maximum number of full time people a small business can have is 39, 40 being the cut off requiring health care to be provided and for part time it is double that number so you can have 79 part timers working even is that isn't near enough to do the job correctly, within budget and on time but if you add 1 to make it 80 then it's Da Da Da DUM!!!! Obama Time...
This is just going to KILL any service oriented business growth in so many different kinds small businesses that are already struggling just to stay afloat in Obamas stagnant, teetering on a second recession economy that he has no idea how to correct....This is what happens when you put a community organizer with no business experience what so ever or even having had to at least once work for a living to support himself and make him KING and CEO over American Free Enterprise....

to some of you younger (married) members.
About 1 month ago, one of the bathroom faucets developed an un-fixable leak. The copper tube had developed a pin hole that I didn't want to try to solder up or epoxy. The damn thing was only 35 years old.
So I tell the wife that I am going to buy two faucets for that bathroom. Even I know they should match when they are on the same vanity top.
To make a long story short.............I have replaced a total of six bath faucets, five bathroom lights, repainted two bathrooms (with the third still to go), in the process of replacing two tub/shower faucets, which means I've got to breakout existing tile as there is no access to the back of the faucets, then retile and will put in a new floor in one of the three bathrooms. Of course, since all of the stuff in the house is old, nothing comes apart the way it is supposed to. Gotta do some serious dismantling.
So what's the lesson............................................ .
Keep your mouth closed and let the dam thing leak. Either that or, heck I don't know.

The Afghani quarterback
The coach had put together the perfect team for the Chicago Bears. The only thing that was missing was a good quarterback. He had scouted all the colleges and even the Canadian and European Leagues, but he couldn't find a ringer who could ensure a Super Bowl win.
Then one night while watching CNN he saw a war-zone scene in Afghanistan . In one corner of the background, he spotted a young Afghan Muslim soldier with a truly incredible arm. He threw a hand-grenade straight into a 15th story window 100 yards away.
KABOOM!
He threw another hand-grenade 75 yards away, right into a chimney.
KA-BLOOEY!
Then he threw another at a passing car going 90 mph.
BULLS-EYE!
"I've got to get this guy!" Coach said to himself. "He has the perfect arm!"
So, he brings him to the States and teaches him the great game of football. And the Bears go on to win the Super Bowl.
The young Afghan is hailed as the great hero of football, and when the coach asks him what he wants, all the young man wants is to call his mother.
"Mom," he says into the phone, "I just won the Super Bowl!"
"I don't want to talk to you, the old Muslim woman says. “You are not my son!"
"I don't think you understand, Mother," the young man pleads. "I've won the greatest sporting event in the world. I'm here among thousands of my adoring fans."
"No! Let me tell you!" his mother retorts. "At this very moment, there are gunshots all around us. The neighborhood is a pile of rubble. Your two brothers were beaten within an inch of their lives last week, and I have to keep your sister in the house so she doesn't get raped!" The old lady pauses, and then tearfully says,
"I will never forgive you for making us move to Chicago !!!!

They have no real runningoffense but kept trying to go through the middle of the line all damn day and u ain't gonna run against aht defensive linebacker of the ravens. What didhe have 13 or more tackles but they just kep trying.
And that last raven hail merry pass, WTF, Denver knew he was gonna pass it, they only ruyshed 3 men and yet they still didn't give down field coverage. They deserved to loose. New England will clean the ravens plow if they meet. Seattle did the same fokking thing. they played defensive football at the end instead of playing what got them there. they deserved to loose also. This nail gun can shoot a 16-D nail through a 2x4 at 200 yards and incase of a home invasion well you can NAIL THEIR ASS to the wall. Im not saying it wont kill the perp but they wont get away. You can also help build a friends fence 2 blocks away while sitting in your front lawn. This is truly how you adapt and overcome so Thanks Dewalt

This one is a classic!!!!! I'll BET YOU A $100 to a nickel he never noticed what the positions of the aircraft were spelling....until one of his aides told him. Way to go Brits; love it.
In case Obama didn't understand how the Brits felt when he sent the bust of Churchill back to England, a gift from the English during the Bush administration, these pilots have not forgotten Obama's disrespect for Americas friend and ally.
YOU HAVE TO LOOK REALLY CLOSE BUT IT SPELLS OUT 2 WORDS. ENJOY the Brits humor on Obama's last visit. They will never forget nor forgive! The Brits may be prim and proper but they still get their point across. Harrier jets' fly past (fly-bys) over Downing Street in an air show salute to Obama.

It's called Citadel (http://www.iiicitadel.com/) complete with walls and defensive turrets, schools, etc. Gun ownership is a requirement and applicants must be interviewed for compatibility with Jeffersonian ideals. Ok so I have a problem and need some advice.
I have suspected for a while now that my old wife has been cheating on me!
The phone will ring and if I answer I either get hung up on or it's a telemarketer. My wife has a full time job and she has been "going out with the girls" a lot lately. And when I ask who with, she says, oh just some girls in the office you don't know them.
She carpools to work here in Houston so she usually gets dropped off at the house. But I stay awake watching and she always comes walking up from down the street!
I have not called her out of this, I think deep inside I am scared to know the truth so I saw nothing.
Well last night she went "out with the Girls" again so I parked the Ultra limited in the driveway where I could see both ways down the street and I hid behind the bike and watched down the street to see who dropped her off!
It was at this moment, crouching behind the bike, that I noticed that the Primary cover was leaking a little oil!
Is this something I should be worried about or should I pull the cover and replace the gasket?

From Larry the Cable Guy:
"THIS CABLE GUY HUMOR IS FUNNY... BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT'S TRUE!
(THE MAN'S A GENIUS!!!)
Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in Our Country lately: Illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida ... Not me -- I concentrate on solutions for the problems -- it's a win-win situation. Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border. Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levees. Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.
Any other problems you would like for me to solve today?
Think about this:
1. Cows
2. The Constitution
3. The Ten Commandments
COWS:
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.
THE CONSTITUTION:
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS:
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: you cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians, it creates a hostile work environment.
Also, think about this..... if you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone -- YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
GET 'ER DONE"
That sounds good to me!

Gotta serious question for you. Everybody says not to shoot reloads unless you do them yourself. Others may say unless you know the person really well. I have an excess of 9mm loaded with a mild range load and have not has any problems with them through thousands of loads to date. I want to thin them out to make room for more of the .45's I'm loading and may even go away from the 9mm altogether. What are your thoughts on my selling existing reloads to people I don't know?
Bawanna
01-18-2013, 02:32 PM
To me it's their call not yours. Some would say your opening yourself up if anything bad happens and someone is injured. And you probably are, I don't usually spend a lot of time dwelling on J Noble Dagget lawyer type stuff.
If I had a 9 and was looking for reloads I'd buy some if that means anything. That being said it would be in violation of my own mantra, never shoot anyone elses reloads.
I tell people that usually followed by offering some of my reloads to help get them started.
I think I might be a gosh darn hipocrite.

OL - To tell you the truth, I'd be very cautious about selling any reloaded ammo to people that I don't know. If the least little thing happens to the person shooting the reloaded ammo, you can bet that there may be a lawyer and law suit waiting the the wings.
How many is an "excess"? I think that too many is better than not enough.

I just went to our largest gun store... Shooters... usually very nice prices and discounts with lots of STUFF. Today they still had lots of GUNS, but no popular ammo other than real odds and ends... like a limit of two boxes of the only 5.56... frangible range ammo at 20 for $18 or so... not sure about the price. Only one kind of 9mm left ... Federal JHP at $35 a box. I heard that the range where I shoot wasn't selling any of their range ammo unless you wanted to shoot it there.
They had plenty of guns... pistols were reasonable, but out of Glock 19... let alone compensated ones. I looked at a compensated 23, since this was "for my wife" I thought better of that. It was $619.99 with two regular-capacity mags... not bad.
There weren't any .22's with threaded barrels... wanted to see what they had in the Ruger pistols. I asked about the lowest-priced 7.62 NATO semi-auto... anything around $1,000. He laughed... another guy next to me asked what was the cheapest one... he said the one that used to sell for about $1,500 was now $3,500! THAT's why they guns left. The "assault" rifles are precious!
I know that it will be a madhouse at the gun show tomorrow, but I'll go look around. I'll take the "hurricane fund" again, but don't expect to spend it unless I find a "deal". I'm feeling pretty good about my splurge on ammo this last few months now.
I would advise holding on to ALL of the ammo you currently have. You might need it or be able to get something else that someone wants to barter. Bullets will be a medium of exchange and command VERY HIGH prices already. If you can FIND stuff in stock, buy what you need and can afford... hell, go into debt if you can get what you want!
I had to really look around online to find ammo, and I nailed what I could. I got my last order from Underwood in 3 days... order to received! I went with what they had in stock.

1. Regarding the identity of the father of my twins, Makeeshia was fathered by Maclearndon McKinley I am unsure as to the identity of the father of Marlinda, but I believe that she was conceived on the same night.
2. I am unsure, as to the identity of the father of my child as I was being sick out of a window when taken unexpectedly from behind. I can provide you with a list of names of men that I think were at the party if this helps.
3. I do not know the name of the father of my little girl. She was conceived at a party at 3600 East Grand Boulevard where I had sex with a man I met that night. I do remember that the sex was so good that I fainted. If you do manage to track down the father, can you please send me his phone number? Thanks... (The runner-up).
4. I don't know the identity of the father of my daughter. He drives a BMW that now has a hole made by my stiletto in one of the door panels. Perhaps you can contact BMW service stations in this area and see if he's had it replaced. hilarious:
5. I have never had sex with a man. I am still a Virginian. I am awaiting a letter from the Pope confirming that my son's conception was ejaculate and that he is the Saver risen again. http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/facepalm.gif

Please advise. http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/scratchhead.gif
7. I do not know who the father of my child was as they all look the same to me. http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/facepalm.gif
8. Tyrone Hairston is the father of child A. If you do catch up with him, can you axe him what he did with my AC/DC CDs? Child B who was also borned at the same time..... well, I don't have clue.
9. From the dates it seems that my daughter was conceived at Disney World. Maybe it really is the Magic Kingdom.
10. So much about that night is a blur. The only thing that I remember for sure is Delia Smith did a program about eggs earlier in the evening. If I had stayed in and watched more TV rather than going to the party at 8956 Miller Ave , mine might have remained unfertilized. http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Laugh for the day:
The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech and walked out into the lobby of the convention center where he was introduced to a U.S. Marine General.
They shook hands.
As they talked the Iranian said, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America ."
The General said, "Well, anything I can do to help."
The Iranian whispered, "My son watches this show called Star Trek and in it there is Chekhov who is Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, Uhura who is black and Sulu who is Japanese, but no Muslims. My son is very upset and doesn't understand why there aren't any Iranians, Iraqis, Afghans, Egyptians, Palestinians, Saudis, Syrians or Pakistanis on Star Trek."
The General laughed, leaned toward the Iranian ambassador, and whispered back, . . .
"That's because it takes place in the future..."

You'll have to let us know how that works out.
My classic Sig P220 is not +P rated.
I tried some anyway and it kicks harder for sure.
Plus it's such a fine gun I don't like beating it up like that.
The HK45C is an entirely different story.
That Bad Boy is +P rated.
And the HK recoil reduction really does work.
It's very controllable with +P ammo.
I'm running Winchester Ranger T-Series 230 gr +P.
They are advertised at 990 fps from a 5".
Due in part to Polygonal rifling, my 3.9" gun still gets ~930 fps.

In the Arab world, the left hand has one purpose... and it's not to eat with at the table. That's why they whack off the right hand on thieves... then they're outcasts and not welcome at the communal tables. You can use your left hand to pick up cinder blocks to drop on the head of teenaged girls accused of being too western... or rape-inspiring whores... instead of rape-victims!

I've been to NY City twice. Once in 1960 and went to the Latin Quarter, okay show, great dinner, and visited the Empire State Building. The second was in 1998 and visited the towers (quite a view from 110 stories up), rode a horse buggy through Central Park, saw a Broadway show and walked through Times Square at midnight.
I thought both visits were great but then again I didn't go outside the "safe zone". I think it's like Boston (been there also), there are some places that are highlights of the US and good to visit.

" Don't Indians use soap? So what is the problem?"
Soap and clean water... in places where water comes from cesspool rivers and questionable wells... yeah, right! And in the desert, water is for drinking... what little they have. If you haven't been to third world countries, you're lucky. We're used to clear, potable water coming out of a tap... on demand. I still distill what we drink and it keeps the coffeemakers clear of hard-water buildup. I started that when we lived in Caribou, Maine, and our well had too much fertilizer residue in it.
I don't even want to think about what they do with their left hand after its use... without soap and water!

Two old lawyers had been stranded on a desert island 30 years. The only thing on the island was a tall coconut tree that provided them their only food. Each day one of the old lawyers would climb to the top to see if he could spot a rescue boat coming. One day the lawyer yelled down from the tree, "WOW, I just can't believe my eyes. There is a woman out there floating in our direction." The old lawyer on the ground was most skeptical and said, "You're hallucinating, you've finally lost your mind." But within a few minutes, up to the beach floated a stunningly beautiful woman, face up, totally naked, unconscious, without even so much as a ring or earrings on her person. The two old lawyers went down to the water, dragged her up on the beach and discovered, yes, she was alive, warm and breathing. One said to the other, "You know, we've been on this God forsaken island for years now without a woman. It's been such a long, long time... So ... Do you think we should... well... You know... Screw her?" "Out of WHAT?!?" asked the other old lawyer.

Every show, there is the scene where the big guy named Bobo stands there looking dumb and then says "There's a squatch in these woods!" :001_huh: I think HE is the only squatch you're ever going to see on that show!
You know, there are a lot of shows that I believe are damaging to brain cells if you watch them, and this is one of them. I've been saying that for decades regarding pro wrestling, Jerry Springer and like shows. Although I used to enjoy watching Roller Derby! :D

Barack Obama was visiting a primary school in North Carolina and he
visited a fourth grade class. They were in the middle of a discussion
related to words and their meanings.
The teacher asked the president if he would like to lead the
discussion on the word 'tragedy.'
So our illustrious president asked the class for an example of a 'tragedy.'
One little boy stood up and offered: "If my best friend, who lives on
a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs him over and kills
him, that would be a tragedy."
"No," said Obama, "that would be an accident."
A little girl raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children
drove off a cliff, killing everyone - that would be a tragedy."
"I'm afraid not," explained Obama. "That's what we would call great loss."
The room went silent. No other child volunteered. Obama searched the
room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a
tragedy?"
Finally at the back of the room, Little Johnny raised his hand.
The teacher held her breath.
In a quiet voice he said: "If the plane carrying you and Mrs. Obama
was struck by a 'friendly fire' missile and blown to smithereens that
would be a tragedy."
"Fantastic!" exclaimed Obama. "That's right. And can you tell me why
that would be a tragedy?"
"Well," says Johnny, "It has to be a tragedy, because it sure as hell
wouldn't be a great loss... and you can bet your ass it wouldn't be an
accident either!"
The teacher fainted

And the Number One reason
Why Men Prefer Guns over women.....
#1 - You can buy a silencer for a gun

On January 9th, a group of Pekin, Illinois bikers were riding west on I-74 when they saw a girl about to jump off the Murray Baker Bridge. So they stopped.
http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee486/John_England/Misc/BurlyBiker.jpg
George, their leader, a big burly man of 53, gets off his Harley, walks through a group of gawkers, past the State Trooper, and says, "What are you doing?"
She says, "I'm going to commit suicide."
While he didn't want to appear "sensitive," he didn't want to miss a be-a-legend opportunity either so he asked ... "Well, before you jump, why don't you give me a kiss?"
So, with no hesitation at all, she leaned back over the railing and did just that ... and it was a long, deep, lingering kiss followed immediately by another one.
After they finished, George gets approval from his biker-buddies, the onlookers, and even the State Trooper, and says, "Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had, Honey! That's a real talent you're wasting, Sugar Shorts. You could be famous if you rode with me. Why are you committing suicide?"
"My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl."
It's still unclear whether she jumped or was pushed.

This is a story about a couple who had been happily married for years. The only friction in their marriage was the husband's habit of farting loudly every morning when he awoke. The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water and make her gasp for air. Every morning she would plead with him to stop ripping them off because it was making her sick. He told her he couldn't stop it and that it was perfectly natural. She told him to see a doctor, she was concerned that one day he would blow his guts out. The years went by and he continued to rip them out. Then one christmas day morning, as she was preparing the turkey for dinner and he was upstairs sound asleep, she looked at the innards, neck, gizzard, liver and all the spare parts, and a malicious thought came to her. She took the bowl and went upstairs where her husband was sound asleep and, gently pulling the bed covers back, she pulled back the elastic waistband of his underpants and emptied the bowl of turkey guts into his shorts.. Some time later she heard her husband waken with his usual trumpeting which was followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic foot steps as he ran into the bath room. The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor laughing, tears in her eyes! After years of torture she reckoned she had got him back pretty good. About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face. She bit her lip as she asked him what was the matter. He said, 'honey you were right.' 'all these years you have warned me and i didn't listen to you'. 'what do you mean?' asked his wife. 'well, you always told me that one day i would end up farting my guts out, and today it finally happened. But by the grace of god, some vaseline and two fingers. I think i got most of them back in!"

Why Grandfather's are so popular
Why Grandfathers are different: Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Grandmothers and Grandfathers? Well, here it is: There was this loving grandfather who always made a special effort to spend time with his son's family on weekends. Every Saturday morning he would take his 5-year-old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some quality time -- pancakes, ice cream, candy-- just him and his granddaughter. One particular Saturday, however, he had a bad cold and really didn't feel like being up at all. He knew his granddaughter always looked forward to their drives and would be disappointed. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter for the drive and breakfast. When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her grandfather who was still in bed. "Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?" he asked. Not really, PaPa, it was really boring. We didn't see a single http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/censored.gif, http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/censored.gif, lesbian, piece of crap, horse's ass, socialist left wing democrat Obmama lover, blind bastard, dip http://www.ncgunowners.com/forum/images/smilies/poop.gif, Muslim camel humper or son of a ***** anywhere we went!" The state of Washington and the city of Seattle are having a gun buy back program. I heard thru sources yesterday that on the city buy back they ran into some unexpected surprises.
Seems some wise enterpreneurs set up in the very very long line to check out what folks were bringing in and purchased numerous firearms at no doubt very good prices. The city ran out of money after I believe it was 700 buys. The picture I saw was mostly rusty unsaveable junk.
Kind of sorry I didn't think of the idea myself. I do hate going to Seattle just about more than anything though.
The State has a lot more money, funded by Amazon. Don't know how that's working out other than they didn't get any of mine yet and so far the burglary stats aren't out yet. Last time they did it they went up quite high.
They are running serial numbers this time and found 4 stolen so far. I'm sure the owners will never hear about it though. That's a sad fact for sure.
