First off I really like this pistol. Round count is at 300+ with zero malfucntions.
For OWB I have a Don Hume 721 open top. The thin CW9 disappears under a sweat shirt or untucked T shirt. For IWB I have the DeSantis Style 57 bought from the Kahr Shop. Comfortable, unobtrusive and well made. The Kahr logo on the tail is a nice touch. For ankle I have a DeSantis Apache ankle rig.
The lip of the polymer magazine base plate tended to snag as I drew up my pant leg but a switch to the metal base plate solved that. As Fred Dryer's "Hunter" character used to say "Works for me."

I have a very similar experience with my CW9. I carry IWB with a Comp-Tac CTAC, and am still carrying OWB with a Don Hume 721 OT made for an XD. I was looking at the Don Hume JIT to OWB carry the CW9. The XD 721 OT is a little large for the Kahr.

Congratulations on the CW9, I sure like mine!

Don Hume 721-40K9 is made for the Kahr P and CW pistols and is a perfect fit.
Took 5 weeks to get.

Xaircav,

I want to carry OWB in front of the hip. Will your 721 OT do that or do you think it has too much forward cant. I could get by with the 721 OT for the XD, but I think you should carry in holsters made for the pistol. Also looking at several LOBO pancake holsters. Even though Don Hume is made to fit 1.75 belts I sure like the price. That why I was looking at the Don Hume JIT for in front of the hip, its no cant and the price is great. Its the Scot in me!

Richard, What you are describing in front of the hip is known as appendix carry. I think you are right that the 721 would have too much cant. As to what works I'm not sure as I never tried it. As for the 1.75" belt loops on the 721 it works fine with 1.25" and 1.5" belts.

Xaircav, thanks for the reply. I will order the JIT and give it a try. Enjoy that CW9. I have both XD and Hi-Power pistols and have come to regard my CW9 as my main carry and an under valued SD pistol.
