One thing Odummy does well is sell guns. I was just looking around to see if there were any AR/AK's available, and couldn't find a new one. People are making a killing on them on the auction sites though. If you have one too many, might put it up for auction and double your money.
So I bought a guitar instead. I think my playing is probably just as deadly as an AR. No one can take it for very long, LOL. They should use me instead of waterboarding and I bet those people would spill their guts in no time.

I ordered mine online December 19, 2012.
She is scheduled to arrive in three days!
I'm feeling very lucky right about now.

See if you can find a lower receiver. It's the only part that the feds consider to be a gun. You can build your own as parts become available. You'll save money by doing so.

I just picked up an LWRC M6A2 SPR from a LGS. They sold out of ARs (45 of them) Monday-Thursday the week after the Sandy Hooks shooting. They somehow got a handful more in and I bought the last one on December 30th. It was $2800.00, but the same models are selling on Gunboker for $3700.00. I am not gonna fire it until I see what happens with the AWB and I decide whether to keep it or sell it. I also have a SCAR 16S and have seen those selling on GB for crazy, crazy prices 6-7K. I purchased mine about a year ago for $2300.00. We are living in crazy times right now. For instance, I heard these stats today....The US has ~56,000,000 people collecting welfare or food stamps. The are currently about 31,000,000 government employees. So, 87 million people are having there incomes paid or subsidized by the US taxpayers, but there are only 109 million people employeed in the private sector paying these taxes. I never was very good at math, but how can that idiot Obama expect 109 million people to take care or 87 million?

I can't seriously answer that question without getting banned.
My politically incorrect response is I just ordered four more mags -

He can't. He has no intention of the taxpayers ultimately paying for that. It's designed to break us, and assimilate into the government. This is all by design. We're headed down the road of collectivism.

You have to remember though that even government employees pay taxes and many of them perform functions which are necessary for private commerce to commence. Regardless though, I'm not sure where you heard that figure on government employees. The only possible way I could see that figure being accurate is if they're including state, local government, public service employees, and even possibly corporations working on a government tender.

As far as I know government employees are US taxpayers just like folks in the private sector. (Oops, I see Pyranha has pointed that out, that's what I get for watching football while working on responses)

ARs and AKs are gone form the shelves in this area, but there were a few SKS still on the shelf as of Friday last.

I went to the shooting range Saturday and every person there had an AR, all new, two guys had one, one guy had 2, and another guy had 3 new ones. I saw a bid for a 900 dollar AR on Buds for $1900. Crazy.

I cannot find any in my area and now the prices have gone too high for me. Glad I got one 6 months ago. Sure wanted another one though.

I cannot find any in my area and now the prices have gone too high for me. Glad I got one 6 months ago. Sure wanted another one though.

Just by fate I happened to buy five high end HK pistols at the end of last year.
Three are high cap guns.
Even though I always get an extra mag for a minimum of three per gun.
I felt compelled to have six per gun.
That choice is looking real good right about now.

Always wanted an AK/AR after the last ban was lifted.
But never scratched that itch.

After this last hysteria started, really too late to act, I woke up at 2AM in a cold sweat and ordered my first AK on December 19.
Last one available and not price gouged - I was just plain lucky.
Initially bough three high cap mags - like a handgun.
Then I started twitching watching the mag supply evaporate before my eyes
and bought four more.
The next day, after thinking about it, two more.
And finally, a week later from a second source,
the last four in stock for a total of thirteen.
Both suppliers are now out of stock completely.

My experiences buying high end 5.56/.223 ammo has been just as challenging.
I'm still waiting on two shipments of premium stuff.
Hope I really get it.
Looking at 6 or 7 online suppliers they appear to be sold out of
everything I already ordered.

I've got 240 rounds of target ammo, 120 rounds of LE wamma jamma
sniper stuff and 9 30 round mags in hand.

My AK47 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
With the remaining mags and ammo sometime thereafter.

It's January 3 and I'm already tired...

I'm in Bulgaria picking up my NIB Krinkov AK and new polymer Circle 10 mags...
Bulgarian average temperatures from 32 °F to 34.7 °F in January.
It is winter you know?

My 2013 Taco 4X4 is far away and warm.

I've always had a thing for long jackets.
And it's freaking COLD here!

Here's the latest hot button info:
New Congress will take fresh crack at old problems
http://news.yahoo.com/congress-fresh-crack-old-problems-061146363.html
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The new 113th U.S. Congress, which convenes on Thursday,
is set to take a fresh crack at a number of old, and highly contentious, issues,
such as gun control, immigration, the record debt, tax reform and the farm bill.
Here's a look:
GUN CONTROL
President Barack Obama vows to crack down on gun violence in the wake of the school massacre last month in Newtown, Connecticut,
the latest in a series of shooting rampages over the past decade.
According to a USA Today/Gallup Poll, 58 percent of Americans now back tougher gun laws,
but 51 percent oppose Obama's call to outlaw so-called assault weapons.
A sharply divided Congress is awaiting a broad review of gun violence headed by Vice President Joe Biden.

Local sporting goods warehouse type store is getting ARs in every Tues. The unfortunate part for many is that people are lining up at midnight the night before to get dibs on the $700 ARs. Guy at the gun counter told me they were gone by 9am.

My trip to Bulgaria was successful.
It's nice to be warm again...
The quality of the Bulgarian AK is outstanding.
I'll test fire the puppy tomorrow.
Sleepy now...
